Great read for a CEO
Revisado: 12-09-21
Thoroughly enjoyed the practical advice and viewpoints shared. There were at least 10 moments in the book that it truly hit home for me as a leader.

Historia
In this paradigm shifting book, Dale Bredesen, MD, offers real hope to anyone looking to prevent and even reverse Alzheimer's disease and cognitive decline. Revealing that AD is not one condition, as it is currently treated, but three, The End of Alzheimer's outlines 36 metabolic factors (micronutrients, hormone levels, sleep) that can trigger "downsizing" in the brain. The protocol shows us how to rebalance these factors using lifestyle modifications like taking B12, eliminating gluten, or improving oral hygiene.

Life changing!
Revisado: 09-22-20
If you have a family history of Alzheimer’s, this book is life-changing. It might even save your life and or that of a loved one!
My mother has been struggling with Alzheimer’s dementia for 14 years. It all started after treatment for cancer in her late 50s!! She does NOT have typical “late onset dementia”. It was MCI for many years . Doctors couldn’t explain her Slow progression and said it’s just a matter of time before she develops full blown Alzheimer’s. No suggestions on how to slow it down. To them, there was nothing we could do but wait!
She lived with me for 11 years and is in a nursing home now. I only wish I had found this book earlier! There are so many things I would have done for her differently. At least this gives me hope for me and my sister!

Lenore Skenazy called down a firestorm of controversy when she wrote a newspaper column about letting her nine-year-old ride alone on the New York City subway. In this plainspoken take on modern parenting, Skenazy offers a commonsense approach to letting kids be kids.

A must read audiobook!
Revisado: 01-27-19
Dream about your kids having the freedom you did growing up? Lenore Skenazy’s comedic approach to explaining parental anxieties and debunking myths will help you take steps toward that dream.
This book is therapy for any anxious parent! I’m so thankful to have come across it!
I particularly enjoyed it as an audiobook. Lenora’s humorous writing style is perfectly brought to life by the skilled narrator Susan Bennet.
