Historia
Paranormal investigator Lacey Fitzpatrick and medium Sam Firecloud are making quite a name for themselves. When a TV network offers to feature them on a popular ghost series, they realize they could dispel misconceptions and bring credibility to their work. However, filming their process is more troublesome and complicated than they knew. Their goal to research and release the ghostly tenants of a haunted bed and breakfast in Malibu is at odds with the studio’s penchant for sensationalism.

Nice novella for a rainy day.
Revisado: 12-10-19
This was a great light read for a rainy day. Characters are likable and believable & even though it has to do with the supernatural very grounded. The narrator was great.

Historia
Two weeks before he intends to slowly and sadistically kill his prey, Loverboy sends a collage of the future crime scene to the FBI. If the federal agents are able to decode the collage in time, they can prevent Loverboy's next slaying. FBI agent Imogen Page is armed with an exceptional ability in the world of criminology: The mingling of her senses make her acutely aware of patterns others might not sense. This keen sense for detection, however, also makes Imogen unusually empathetic. Determined to rescue Loverboy's latest catch, Imogen's cognitive gifts now put her in grave danger.

Uneven and drawn out. I loved Bad Girl and her historical books. This one was a let down.

Historia
For Chicago Thomas, aka Windy, it was an offer too good to refuse: the chance to head the forensics lab at the Las Vegas Police Department. But the job of her dreams takes a nightmarish turn, and the bodies start piling up. To Ash Leighton, the enigmatic chief of the Metro Violent Crime Unit, the signs are clear: a serial killer is stalking Las Vegas. In a breathless race against time, the lines between good and bad, right and wrong, begin to blur, and Windy and Ash find themselves irresistibly drawn to each other.

Romantic tension in a thorough thriller.
Revisado: 10-15-19
One of the only romance/thriller/ procedural that ties up its loose ends. I love the friendship/relationship that builds between Windy and Ash. It makes their eventual get together feel natural and doesn't diminish either characters strengths or the story.

Historia
On the surface, the Victorian age is one of propriety, industry, prudishness and piety. But scratch the surface and you’ll find scandal, sadism, sex, madness, malice and murder. Presented by Stephen Fry, this series delves deep into a period of time we think we know, to discover an altogether darker reality. The stories we’re told offer a different perspective on an era which underwent massive social change. As education, trade, technology and culture blossomed, why was there an undercurrent of the ‘forbidden’ festering beneath Victorian society?

Entertaining and educational. It is easier to seethe truth of the now when you know the truth of the past.

skip this one

Milk toast hero, cliche heroine, convoluted story, weak narration. If it's your first Amanda Quick read choose another. Her usually quick witted characters are missing here.
