Definitely worth reading!!!

Very important read. Greatly appreciate that the authors wrote this book. Some of the chapters were a little too technical for me. I enjoyed the case studies the most. Overall, major thumbs up.

Historia
At age 20, Thomas Dekker was already earning €100,000 a year - as an amateur bike racer. The next year, he turned pro and his salary quadrupled then rose again to €900,000 as he established his position as a super-domestique among Europe's wealthiest superteams. The sport world marveled at Dekker's rise as the young racer set his ambitions on capturing cycling's biggest prizes for himself. Before long, though, Dekker found himself corrupted by money, dazzled by fame, and cracking under the relentless pressure to perform at a superhuman level.

I found this book extremely interesting. What a rollercoaster Thomas Dekker was on. So much talent for bike racing, but also so insecure and grandiose. My hat goes off to him for sharing his story with the world, and to the co-author, who kept me engaged the whole time. Great job gentleman!

Historia
The culture of “safety” and its intolerance of opposing viewpoints has left many young people anxious and unprepared for adult life. Lukianoff and Haidt offer a comprehensive set of reforms that will strengthen young people and institutions, allowing us all to reap the benefits of diversity, including viewpoint diversity. This is a book for anyone who is confused by what’s happening on college campuses today, or has children, or is concerned about the growing inability of Americans to live and work and cooperate across party lines.

In the summer of 1846, the Army of the West marched through Santa Fe, en route to invade and occupy the Western territories claimed by Mexico. Fueled by the new ideology of “Manifest Destiny,” this land grab would lead to a decades-long battle between the United States and the Navajos, the fiercely resistant rulers of a huge swath of mountainous desert wilderness.

Revisado: 03-21-22
Not that excited about this one. Always been a HUGE Michael Connelly fan. He’s outstanding. But this book had a subtle sanctimonious, woke feeling to it. Just being honest. I miss the raw edge of the Harry Bosch character.

Historia
The most important fact about the coronavirus pandemic that turned the world upside down in 2020 is that our response to it has been an epic overreaction driven by a disastrous confluence of public and private interests - all of them purporting to “follow the science”. Since the lockdowns began, millions of Americans have relied on the reporting of Alex Berenson. Exposing the hysteria and manipulation behind the worst failure of public policy since World War I, this clear-eyed journalist has been a critical source of reason and truth.

Alex Barenson is a REAL investigative journalist!!
Revisado: 12-17-21
Alex Berenson is what a REAL investigative journalist looks like, as far as I can tell. The guy does his homework. He’s relentless. He’s a brilliant critical thinker. He’s a hero in my book. We’d be in a bad place if we didn’t have courageous, thoughtful, bright, hard-working people like him among us. This book is very important for many reasons. Perhaps more than anything else, it’s valuable because it documents the history of many of the more important events. And so much has happened during this pandemic, that it’s easy to lose sight of the forest. If the mainstream media had journalists like Berenson, we could actually watch “the news” and learn about the world. Sadly, we’re a long way away from those days. It’s really gotten so biased that you have to dig and hunt around for legit intel on what’s going on in the world. Thank you sir!!!! Please don’t stop!!!! Keep grinding away at what you do!!! I trust you and look forward to your future contributions to society!! 🙏😀🙏

When Dr. Scott W. Atlas was tapped by Donald Trump to join his COVID Task Force, he was immediately thrust into a maelstrom of scientific disputes, policy debates, raging egos, politically motivated lies, and cynical media manipulation. Numerous myths and distortions surround the Trump Administration’s handling of the crisis, and many pressing questions remain unanswered.

A very important book!!! Thank you!!!!
Revisado: 12-03-21
Overall, this is a must-read for all Americans, no matter how you currently see Covid and the lockdown policies. Dr. Atlas, whether you like him or not, deserves a great deal of respect for putting himself in the firing line by standing next to Donald Trump as a Covid adviser. In all fairness, the book is redundant and probably should have been polished a bit more. However, it contains extremely valuable information about Drs. Birx, Fauci, and Redfield. And if you read the subtext, you learn that Trump and Pence seriously dropped the ball by not firing Birx, Fauci, and Redfield and replacing them with the likes of a Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, Dr. John Ioannidis, Dr. Sunetra Gupta, and/or Dr. Martin Kulldorff. The Trump administration had the chance to pull in legit scientists to help Americans navigate the Covid crisis, but instead played it safe politically. Focused protection was the path to take, not the lockdowns, and Dr. Atlas explains why in this fascinating insider’s perspective. Thank goodness we have blunt instruments like Dr. Atlas, who are willing to be strong when it matters the most and when it is hardest. (Hopefully this review won’t get censored. I’ve tried to review this book on Amazon multiple times and none of my reviews have been posted.)
