I’d been in an audiobook slump for months, then came across this little gem that got my attention from the first chapter. The narrator does an excellent job with the different characters.

Great narration; Decent story

It held my attention from the beginning, but I kept expecting something scarier to happen. The reviews I based my purchase on gave me the impression it would be very scary. There are supernatural aspects, but in my personal opinion, it was more of a thriller than horror. However, I did enjoy the narrators.

Just what I was looking for!

I was getting tired of “erotica” being passed as different genres, so I was so relieved when I began listening to this book. It has very little sex, a cute romance, and lots of action/suspense. Great for readers who don’t want the cheesiness. I was bummed that there aren’t any other books by this author on audible. Narrator did a fantastic job.

Loads of fun!

The story is very... unique (in a good way). It’s a good va evil with a modern twist on angels and fallen angels. The narrator’s voice was perfect for this type of story. There is a lot of satirical, witty humor. I loved it.

Not the typical cheesy romance

Cute story. The main character was not helpless and boring. Narrators were AMAZING, especially the male narrator. I found myself laughing out loud while listening to this at the gym. I didn’t want it to end.

If getting called the B-word turns you on...

The story was decent... good for women who like bikers and bad boys. However, the amount of profanity and degradation became so excessive (not only in the steamy scenes but throughout the entire story), I cringed and almost couldn’t finish it. I understand some people are into vulgarity (and bikers cuss a lot), but the F-bomb was used WAYYYY too much. I have many biker male friends and they do not speak like this 24-7. I feel like the author tried too hard to relate to men, but it doesn’t work. And I’m sorry, but if guys are repeatedly calling you the B-word and hitting you, that’s not sexy AT ALL. Narrator did a good job though, and that’s the only reason I’m giving it 2 stars.

Adults, don’t overlook this!!!

Although the intended audience is 8-10 year olds, I learned so much about the 12 Olympians (I’m a 25-year-old elementary teacher). The story was told with humor and light sarcasm that made it enjoyable and information memorable. I found myself chuckling aloud a few times. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to learn about Greek mythology.

Great narrator; Not-so-great story

I enjoyed the beginning of the series, but about halfway, the character became less likable. She complained and only cared about her own feelings while the rest of the world was at risk. Also, the mention of a sex scene made me uncomfortable, as the story was about underage teenagers. Narrator was great though. Unfortunately, given what I’ve heard/read, I would not choose this story again.
