Historia
In this complex and chaotic time, we need more than ever the particular skills and attributes women possess and can bring to the table. In order to create an environment where the full potentials of these women can be realized, men need to learn how to help ignite the immanent and distinct sparks within them, so these women can, in turn, warm the lives of those they touch. To move successfully into the future, men need to be able to live in relationships that are whole, genuine, and open. They need to understand how to be their best, most vulnerable selves.

Authentically inspiring! Highly recommended.
Revisado: 06-07-22
This book was well written and narrated, filled with practical advice, while being profoundly simplistic in how it is laid out. Easy to connect with the reader/listener while navigating some difficult topics. This book provided clarity on each topic what the chapter was about and clearly laid out the details offering interesting insights and raw, vulnerable, real life experiences. All which truly spoke to the heart. The author's ability to candidly share personal experiences supported the feelings of relatablility for me as the reader, which was helpful. The author discusses the content with us not at us. The book was great and something I can easily share with my partner with confidence that he will find value in the information shared as well. Brilliant job Simon T. Bailey

Historia
Let Love Rule is a work of deep reflection. Lenny Kravitz looks back at his life with candor, self-scrutiny, and humor. Let Love Rule covers a vast canvas stretching from Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Brooklyn’s Bedford-Stuyvesant, Los Angeles’ Baldwin Hills, Beverly Hills, and finally to France, England, and Germany. It’s the story of a wildly creative kid who, despite tough struggles at school and extreme tension at home, finds salvation in music. We see him grow as a musician and ultimately a master songwriter, producer, and performer.

loved it!

Hearing Lenny raw as himself narrate was the best choice and gave this story even more life. the flow of each chapter transitioned into the other flawlessly and ended on point at the most ideal time in his life to capture in the story. Lenny has a great soothing, story telling voice.

Historia
The youngest of her parents’ combined 21 children, Sarah Frey grew up on a struggling farm in southern Illinois, often having to grow, catch, or hunt her own dinner alongside her brothers. She spent much of her early childhood dreaming of running away to the big city - or really anywhere with central heating. At 15, she moved out of her family home and started her own fresh produce delivery business with nothing more than an old pickup truck. Two years later, when the family farm faced inevitable foreclosure, Frey gave up on her dreams of escape and took over the farm.

Empowering and such an inspiration to women....
anyone actually. I enjoyed this book so much and it really lined up with many parts of myself. I specifically loved the "never give up" and "I can do anything" theme to Sarah, her life and who she has become. I am so very pleased with having read the Growing Season. funny thing, reason I picked the book was because I became a first year urban gardener due to COVID and the title fit. what a nice surprise the book spoke so much to me. a must read for everyone

Historia
Alicia Berenson’s life is seemingly perfect. A famous painter married to an in-demand fashion photographer, she lives in a grand house with big windows overlooking a park in one of London’s most desirable areas. One evening, her husband, Gabriel, returns home late from a fashion shoot, and Alicia shoots him five times in the face and then never speaks another word. Alicia’s refusal to talk, or give any kind of explanation, turns a domestic tragedy into something far grander, a mystery that captures the public imagination and casts Alicia into notoriety.
