I absolutely loved this book. The political scheming, the character development, the world. It was what I’ve been craving in a story without realizing that’s what I needed. With that being said, I won’t say the book was without some flaws. I did find out the beginning of the book. It was hard to tell the difference between the three sisters. But as the book went along, it was easier to differentiate between the personalities. Other than that, I found it very intriguing, very well written, and a world I got lost in.

Be prepared to feel every emotion...

I've always been a fan of Laura, but never knew much about her. I started getting into her content when she created Helen. I now know how incredibly talented and amazing she is. I listened and read this book, I definitely think everyone should give it a listen. Hearing the author's inflections while reading helps you really understand their story and Laura did an amazing job reeling me in.
Laura helps you understand what the life of a addict really is like. So many people like to judge. Condemn people for using the word "disease." In this book she helps you understand what the mind of an addict is like. I've always been a empathic person, but now I feel like I can somewhat understand what it has to be like living and struggling with addiction every single day. Thank you, Laura, for that.

started this book as something to fill some time between finishing another book and seeing the movie for it. didn't think of enjoy it all that much, but my god was this book amazing! definitely read it!
