Historia
Imagine a world of pure darkness, of utter isolation from the human experience. A self-imposed darkening of awareness. Imagine that it could be lifted. Our narrator is guided from the blind darkness through the spectrum of colours and emotional responses to the world they inhabit. As they grow and adapt to their new world, it becomes increasingly obvious that all is not as it seems, they enrich themselves and those around them and find a passion to dedicate themselves to true experiences, but a question looms at the end of the rainbow.

Hidden gem
Revisado: 11-27-23
Obviously I’m a little biased but, as a new narrator, I really lucked out with this title as one of my first projects.
Tony, the author, has done more than put you in the position of a blind man desperately seeking sight and what follow, because his story is symbolic.
It is a story that conveys illumination of what was once seemingly mundane, but after perceiving it from a new lens of interpretation… the mundane is anything but. An experience one needn’t be literally blind to understand or experience.
It’s transcendent.
To transcend doesn’t mean something lofty… it is more like being granted a form of a higher perspective as a result of the alchemical processes from an integration of once dormant parts and pieces of one’s self.
With that, I do hope you enjoy this production and thanks for listening.

Shame. Just the word makes most people uncomfortable, and though we all feel shame, no one likes to acknowledge it. Why? Because shame is the most painful and destructive emotion we experience. It’s also designed to protect us. In Healing Shame, Sheila Rubin and Dr. Bret Lyon ask the question: What if your shame - that awful, overwhelming emotion - could work for you instead of sabotaging your well-being?

Very helpful and insightful information, especially for such a difficult topic
Revisado: 05-26-21
The information, insights, advice... wonderful. Actually very helpful. I always love to find people with a pioneering and truly effective understanding and or viable method(s) for approaching complexes/emotions/ailments/etc which are not only a far cut above whatever typically convoluted and sometimes counter productive dribble the mainstream systems/current “conventional” “wisdom” on said topics may be, but are truly innovative as well.
Now... that being said... the authors/speakers sound... idk how to put it... almost exhausted.
Maybe that’s helpful and or intentional? Like to help evoke a calming tone but... it’s a lot.. and makes it kinda hard to stay tuned in when listening but-
Well worth it.

Once the Sith order teemed with followers. But their rivalries divided them in endless battles for supremacy - until one dark lord at last united the Sith in the quest to enslave the galaxy and exterminate the Jedi. Yet it would fall to another, far more powerful than the entire Brotherhood of Darkness, to ultimately realize the full potential of the Sith, and wield the awesome power of the dark side as never before.

Historia
In the New York Times best-seller Darth Bane: Path of Destruction, Drew Karpyshyn painted a gripping portrait of a young man’s journey from innocence to evil. That man was Darth Bane, a twisted genius whose iron will, fierce ambition, and strength in the dark side of the Force made him a natural leader among the Sith - until his radical embrace of an all-but-forgotten wisdom drove him to destroy his own order...and create it anew from the ashes.

Terrific

Absolutely satisfying.
Apparently I need to write 13 more words to submit my arbitrary review... Words words words. Done. If you like Star Wars and especially that which is designated heavily in the dark side department, then get this.

Historia
If you've ever read the whole Bible, you are well aware of just how big this book is. With an estimated word count of well over 700,000, the book is not an undertaking for the casual reader. The book can be a very tedious and boring read. This turns many people off from wanting to commit any time to understanding the foundational doctrine of Christianity.
