Revisado: 08-25-21
great story as always but the voice actors are constantly swapped out for certain characters making it very confusing to track who is who are times

Historia
Throughout history, humans have been driven by the quest for two cherished ideals: community and freedom. The two don’t coexist easily. We value individuality and self-reliance, yet are utterly dependent on community for our most basic needs. In this intricately crafted and thought-provoking book, Sebastian Junger examines the tension that lies at the heart of what it means to be human.

hilariously meandering and far too short
Revisado: 08-10-21
confusingly dodges back and forth between a personal story of walking across the country and historical accounts of native American tribes. it misses the opportunity to dive into numerous meaty subjects, including psychological or even philosophical ones.. but stops short every time frustratingly.
it's shockingly short and it also ends so abruptly that saying it was unsatisfying would be an understatement.

needed more details
Revisado: 10-01-20
while the voice performance was great, the actual story needed more details on the content of his actual leaks. instead it just reads as a personal timeline of events, disappointingly

Historia
Ben Price reveals that our constitution and legal system were intentionally designed to give more rights to the wealthy propertied class than the rest of us, and exposes how this hamstrings our ability to effectively address a host of pressing social and environmental problems - and what we can do about it. Many of today’s most serious issues - homelessness, gun violence, fracking, prison privatization, predatory lending, and many more - resist resolution because the “rights of property” undermine the rights of people.

changes your views on the constitution, but short
Revisado: 05-22-20
great history explanation that provides fundamental reasons for the state of rights today in our nation. really changed my understanding of the constitution and the betrayal at hand. eloquently written and at times even dense due to the nature of precise language. which brings me to my only complaint : I desired more. I felt like it could have easily been 50% longer, going into history of banks globally, or even early human civilization rules on usury and property etc.

Great world & character building, story Arc lacks
Revisado: 12-17-19
was a very interesting world, but very short story Arc overall that felt somewhat unrewarding and rushed in the end. 90% great character building, with little outcome or resolution to show for it. voice performance was top notch though.
