Historia
The growth of Christianity in the early centuries of the Common Era is one of the most extraordinary stories in world history. What began with a preaching day laborer and his dozen or so disciples soon grew to be the largest religion in the world, eventually taking over the entire Roman Empire. How did that happen? How was such a movement possible?

One Never Stops Studying
Revisado: 03-20-23
The ones who have once followed Jesus (or any religion), and then have come to reason, are usually the ones who have the most profound things to teach to those willing to listen. By the end of the book, I felt as if Bart Ehrman was on the pulpit, preaching the truth as it should be. It is an intriguing concept to me that one of the hallmarks of christianity is humility, but those that believe are so pretentious as to insist they know that their God is the truth and everyone else's is wrong. Is Bart perfect? Probably not, but he does a lot better job at centering on the truth than those who spin you down a rabbit hole until you're ultimately left at... the philosophy of science.

It was only nine years ago that Jim Harmer worked at a dollar store, stocking shelves while struggling through law school. He had worked hard for his goals, but there was no assurance in sight that he would ever achieve them. During that year, he learned a key truth that changed the way he worked. He found the one unique quality inside him - one we all have - that gave him a reason to work. He didn’t know it then, but that secret ingredient was his "work energy". The Quintessence of How to Get S**t Done
- De Johnathan en 12-31-19
Great motivational material.
Revisado: 05-25-20
If you've followed Improve Photography and Income school throughout the years, then this is a great read. Awesome to hear how Jim became an entrepreneur and passes that advice on to us. Enjoyed his personality and "off script" material throughout.

Historia
How does a white kid from the New York suburbs, harmonica in hand, end up earning himself a busker's spot on the Harlem sidewalks next to Mr. Satan, a Mississippi-born legend? How did an interracial blues duo fare on the streets of New York during a turbulent, fractious time marked by racially-motivated murders in Howard Beach, Bensonhurst, and Crown Heights?

This is my second go around at this book; the first time I read it on paper. Definitely worth listening too if you've already read the book. Cool to hear the book the way the author wants you to hear it!
