The narration is perfect for the series. Harbin nails the personas and also does a good job with voicing the females. Harbin and Constantine are total pros who handle all their characters beautifully as well. I NEED to know what's next for a couple of the characters and where the band goes from here. Can't wait for the next one. eek.This unusually constructed book allows for fantastic twists, but like an elegantly drawn sketch, the full picture slowly emerges. We follow the happenings at an almost real time speed which propels the story forward in a very tactile​ way..I will say again something worth mentioning,
Andrea Harbin, as narrator, is superb. The text is read briskly, but not too fast, is clear and her use of intonation helps define the emotion.. Each of the characters, too, has a clearly distinctive voice, lending to each a further reality of their personalities. An excellent performance, and, overall, a great listen with a perfect symbiosis of author and reader. A great peek into the troubled minds of an equally troubled generation, trying to find a future where little is there to give hope, all presented in an unusual thriller. It really does give hope that, whilst things are very likely to go wrong, sometimes they might just come out right instead. .Strife is life

A strong woman, and our hero is an alpha male. My favorite combo. While I'm cool with a bit of a damsel in distress, it's really refreshing when a sista who's doin' it for herself gets a little somethin' somethin' too. :)
Awesome performances by marie Smith I like this narration a lot! perfect fit. There's a lot packed into this shorter story: hilarious antics, earbud-melting heat, some seriousness and life drama and a set up for more wildly entertaining installments to come. .Delectable Destiny

Some have called the ending "cliffhanger," but I wouldn't say so. (I absolutely hate them, and I did not have the desire to throw my device when it ended, so…) It does end with more of the story needing to be told, but I would say it's more of a "To Be Continued," WHICH is OK with me because: 1- Part 3 is out soon and 2- Part 2 is long enough that it's worth a credit. (These are MY criteria, based on MY peeves. If you're cool with one book being broken into pieces of less than 6-8 hours and waiting ages for some resolution, bless you. I'm not down with that.)
so all in all I really enjoyed this story but beware it's a cliffy. Not a terrible cliffy but it does feel like it kind of cuts off abruptly. This book was sweet and twisty with lots of secrets and misdirection. I liked most of the characters a lot but I will definitely be listening to book 3when it comes out on audio!
It's a whirlwind of emotions. Quite probably, the best in the series.the stories, the souls -- everything combines with a well-built plot, an expanded universe and realistic, flawed portrayals of characters in order to deliver the best kind of chills. .A lot more realistic than expected

I love romance in all forms, but I am usually not a big fan of military romance, mainly because I find that it either has to be completely unbelievable or so realistically dark that I get super depressed listening. However, I found that this skated that razor's edge and made for an awesomely dark listen without a feeling like I just finished "The Grapes of Wrath" while sitting next to a Dementor. In the beginning,I was still unsure but when the book got going I was hooked..The PTSD issues were scary and upsetting but they needed to be for people who don't know anyone who suffers i thought that adding that to this book created a whole new dimension which made me like it more Theresa Stephens was a good narrator and captured the highs and lows very well and really helped to bring the emotions of the book out in this audio version.I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.As always this is my honest opinion

.Tantalisingly Taboo

All the previous glowing 5 star reviews sum up this intense, riveting and addictive listen very well so all I can add is that i cant wait for more! I've love R.P. James' work . but surely this Duet has got to be her best and most impressive work to-date.
This Duet is deliciously dark, it's smoking h.h.h.hot, it's wickedly intense, it's got shocking twists, it's perfectly paced, it's temptingly twisted, it's got gripping suspense, it's filled with sensational secrets, tantalisingly taboo subjects it's got a sexy Alpha Male whose emotions run deep and Veronica Heart did a fantastic job bringing each pulse-pounding chapter to life. which only adds danger, romance, passion, heartache, character growth and a sweet sweet pleasure..I received this title for free in exchange for an unbiased review.As always this is my honest opinion

A unique and daring wave of YA literature

The story, the characters, the pace -- everything is perfect There are so many other things left unsaid, only a fraction of the story told in this installment, in spite of its overall complexity. Quest of the DreamWalker has the potential to become a worldwide phenomenon with the upcoming movie, but the series has the potential to become a representative of a unique and daring wave of YA literature. This being said, the sequel cannot come fast enough! Zachary Johnson made me cry, laugh,gasp and his narration was utter beauty.Especially at the start of the book when Cara is looking out at the things she "shouldn't" have the beauty of the world that "was nit for her" and when she explains that she has no real name and that her father.her jailer,her abuser just calls her "daughter" it was tenderly heartbreaking.I have listened to another book that he narrated but it is so wildly different I couldn't believe it. I enjoyed the other one but didn't fully realize his range and how much power he could pour in to the words of this enchanting tale weaving a spell around the listeners .I have never read anything by Stacy Bennett before but now I will be actively looking for other books by her.Together author and narrator a total dream team,no pun intended...no really lol.Bold, imaginative and incredibly thrilling, Quest of the Dreamwalker sets the bar up a notch with this vivid portrayal of duty versus free-will. This blend of fantasy with just a touch of dystopian flavor will make the readers devour every word, delighting in a gorgeously written story about freedom, destiny, betrayal and love. It's an instant favorite of mine and I hope that if you haven't read it yet, you will pick it up on the first occasion, because Quest of the Dreamwalker is worth every praise it got. Jan Springer brings us a sexy ,saucy tale of sweet but adventurous Claire.Clair has a kinky side and is an Erotica writer,in this book she meats two strapping young men in her first menage at The Key Club.After a very cool but very naughty trick with a top hat Jacksie,The lady who runs the events and possibly does some matchmaking on the side,makes sure Clair gets to play with the guys who have had their eyes on her and her them.This book is 100% in the right category as erotica and it's a delight,graphic and descriptive without being crass.A bite size nugget of kinky steamy fun.I'm already jumping on to book 2 ;).I received this title for free in exchange for an unbiased review.As always this is my honest opinion .Teri Clark Linden did a fantastic job and had a very sensual lure to her voice.

Would you consider the audio edition of How We Start to be better than the print version?

At this point both Aundrea Mitchell and Logan McAllister are Legendary to me . their enactment, tempo, and changing speech patterns for each individual is distinct and engaging. I do not believe the print version is any less compared to the audiobook but I will say they add a new dimension to the novel that cannot be appraised enough and would suggest to any reader to give the audio version a try.
This book jumps a few years in to Teddy and Asher's future.I enjoyed it but it wasn't what I was expecting and it needed an extra kick to be honest but Our microphone maestros continue to do their thing and I grow more in awe of their talents as narrators with every passing word I hear from them. They on top form with this performance and I really get the impression that they has particularly enjoyed reading this series so far.I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.As always this is my honest opinion.

.Heartbreakingly Beautiful

Would you listen to Friends That Still... again? Why?

Absolutely!I believe even the coldest heart would thaw after listening to this book.i thought Teddy was brave before despite her perceived faults but when she reviled her cancer to Asher. I was struck by a feeling of such warmth,fear and vulnerability on Teddy's behalf.It bravely tries to deal with some hard issues such as the cruelty of cancer and the fragile nature of life and it does so with a palpable lack of empathy. The main character goes through some incredibly harrowing experiences and then almost immediately we are plunged into the lives and consequences of this" friends with benefits " situation of Asher and Reggie.It made my heart soar,plunge and turn in to whirl wind all at the same time .I really feel the inventiveness and characters clarity adds some real meat on the bones of this series .It's a well-rounded and very entertaining story that builds to a genuinely exciting if slightly mind-bending climax. A worthy addition to the genre.The joint narration works really well between Aundrea Mitchell , Logan McAllister . Some conversations between single female and male characters are given a much greater tempo as the two voices mean all the he/she saids are dropped without loss of clarity.Emotions are pulled out of me by these guys even some I was surprised to find myself feeling .I think they make a fanominal team and add exponentially to the story. .Panty dropping erotica.

Would you consider the audio edition of F*THS to be better than the print version?

I usually find short stories frustrating because the story lacks sufficient details or dimensions.G.L. Tomas has delicately balanced this story with just enough background detail, panty melting moments, romance ,of a sort ;) ,humor and a really deep story for one of our trio that touched me.The writer and narrators managed to keep the story well paced and keep the reader enthralled.Both Aundrea Mitchell and Logan McAllister narrate the story well, projecting the flavour of the story with flair.
What I did enjoy of course is the performance, there are some narrators who you know aren't going to let you down. Their voices, attention to tone and story telling are great, you can put the book on and know you're getting the right everything for your time and money.Anundrea Mitchel is that sort of a narrator.This was the first I heard from Logan but I'd me more than happy to hear more,he has a voice that will make you quiver and melt don't feel this magic could be created on page alone.

What was one of the most memorable moments of F*THS?

So, I really enjoyed this and would very happily recommend it to anyone who read and enjoys erotica and a "love" triangle. I personally think that it quite hits the some dizzy heights . The book was extremely original and clever in that it delivered a genuine voyage of sexual discovery as well as a look in to someones life who is not healthy but has a sex life. She may be a little messed up by all that is happening to her but I really don't blame her.I have read some comments that the actions of our frisky trio are immature but I wonder if they would say the same in her shoes. I think this one is very enjoyable and it has the same page-turning qualities.as the others in the series .( I am reviewing after listening to all three)

To sum it up this is a story from narratosr and writer who is finely honing their crafts and who is capable of engendering tension and excitement in her readers in a subtle and intelligent fashion. Using very contemporary themes that are made harrowing through emotion and commentary rather than gory description.
