It was cruel and unusual of the author to leave us on such a cliffhanger...

It had just the right amount of "woke"...it should have been longer though, I want a sequel!

This book is AMAZING! It starts out slower than Alex Gino's other books, but stick with it and you WON'T be disappointed! This as with their other popular book Melissa is one of the few books I've read that actually brought me to tears. Keep on writing Alex, and I'll keep on buying! I've already bought numerous copies of your books to share with the youth in my Little Free Library and this book will be no exception...

This is literally THE most wholesome LGBT+ book that I've EVER read, and very educational about queer history too! I'd strongly recommend it to any queer person, ally, or person interested in LGBT history or social issues of middle-school age or higher. As an excellent bonus, this audio presentation is also read by the author... 👍

This is the third book the Melissa series about her nonbinary friend Green from her middle school's LGBT club, their school puts on The Wizard of Oz in this book! It's a SUPER wholesome, educational, and motivational read for LGBT tweens, teens, their parents and allies. As a nonbinary lesbian and parent myself, I highly recommend it...it makes me feel very happy and validated that the youth have books with diverse characters like this to enjoy! 😁

I'm greatly disappointed, I don't appreciate wasting my time and money on this audiobook only to find that half of the book is missing! The description REALLY wasn't straightforward about the book being abridged, it was only mentioned once in tiny print on the website and not AT ALL on the in-app description...I own the unabridged print version which is an excellent literary masterpiece of comedy, I really enjoyed reading it myself and was looking forward to a performance that could be enjoyed on road trips. Guess I'll have to live without such convenience...

It's like George Carlin in a "zombie" apocalypse, not as good as Keith Blackmore's "Mountain Man" books nor as compelling as Sean Platt and David Wright's "Yesterday's Gone" but solid writing and quite entertaining...but why does the reader call Amelia "Amanda" at least twice? Anyway, are you guys going to do more of these, and if so will they be available on Audible?
