Historia
Using his legendary ability to get to the root of human potential, Napoleon Hill digs deep to reveal how fear, procrastination, anger, and jealousy prevent us from realizing our personal goals. This long-suppressed parable, once considered too controversial to publish, was written by Hill in 1938 following the publication of his classic bestseller, Think and Grow Rich. Annotated and edited for a contemporary audience by Rich Dad, Poor Dad and Three Feet from Gold coauthor Sharon Lechter, this book is profound, powerful, resonant, and rich with insight.

Historia
Each of us has a dual nature: we are light (conscious) and dark (unconscious). The dark side of our personality - the “other,” the shadow side - is made up of what we think is our primitive, primal, negative impulses - our “existential kink.” Our existential kink also drives the dark or negative repeating patterns in our life: always choosing the abusive partner or boss, settling for less, thinking that we’re undeserving, not worthy. But it also is the source of our greatest power.

Since he was 12, Brandon Sulser has survived four brushes with death. One of those life-threatening injuries left him paralyzed from the chest down. Although his life story appears to be unfair, Brandon knows that life is only negative and hard if you allow it to be. And in his experience, we are all paralyzed in our own way, by bad choices, by circumstance, by illness, and more. His paralysis happens to be more obvious than most, but make no mistake; we are all paralyzed. But we don't have to stay that way.

Historia
For years Brian Weiss, M.D. has focused on leading his patients into the past, yet some of them experienced spontaneous pre-cognitive moments. When developing regression into past lives, one man went forward into the future rather than backward. He entered into an idyllic future life - a passage which helped him emotionally. At that moment, Dr. Weiss recognized that past, present, and future are one. What happens in the future can affect the present, just as the past also influences it.

This was a great step into the world of past life regression. I'm intrigued by the concept and the evidence to support it. whether it is a genetic inheritance or the journey of the soul, it seems to be very healing for those that experience it. Well written book.

I had forgotten who my inner child was and how important he is to me. It seems like life forces us to grow up way quicker than we need. I noticed I was acting out in ways that were childish but didn't realize where that stemmed from. This book helped me recognize my own inner child, hear him, and help him grow.

Not Nice Isn't Necessarily Being Not Nice
Revisado: 12-20-18
This book was great. It was similar to another book I listened to called No More Mr Nice Guy, but it gives another view on the topic of insecurity. Many of us allow others to walk over us and the only way to stop that is to stand up for ourselves--to be not nice in a sense. While others may see this as mean, it is simply a way of showing and taking back our power. If you are always the 'nice guy' that everyone steps over, read this book and put it into practice. It will help you become the man (or woman) you are capable of.

Boundaries! Boundaries! Boundaries!
Revisado: 12-20-18
So many people never got the nurturing parental relationship they needed during development. Unfortunately, this leads to a large percentage of the population acting out childlike behaviors in adulthood. It seems the best way to handle this behavior is to establish clear boundaries and to stick with them. Walking on Eggshells gives sound advice for living with someone who has a mental illness. If you are in a relationship with an adult child, you need this book!
