Historia
The balance of power is shifting, with bold new alliances, unknown invaders, and the rumored return of the galaxy's ancient masters. When black-ops spy Amina Azad saves a Hacan ambassador from assassination, she draws him into her investigation of a vast conspiracy: unseen forces are destabilizing the whole galaxy, at the worst possible time. Pursued by agents from dozens of other factions, they can only make progress by allying with their apparent enemies. But even they might be compromised—duped into action by a secret puppet-master.

twilight Imperium
Revisado: 06-17-24
the book was well done the characters likable and the fact that the author can go into a vast setting like Twilight Imperium and and tie everything together there are multiple races, politics and law that the author weaves together to create a satisfying conclusion in the form of a action-packed spy drama.

Historia
Professional heroes kill and loot deadly monsters every day, but Gorm Ingerson's latest quest will be anything but business as usual. The adventuring industry drives the economy of Arth, a world much like our own but with more magic and fewer vowels. Monsters' hoards are claimed, bought by corporate interests, and sold off to plunder funds long before the Heroes' Guild actually kills the beasts. That's a terrible arrangement for the Shadowkin; orcs, goblins, kobolds, and their ilk must apply for to become Noncombatant Paper Carriers to avoid being killed and looted by heroes.

Pratchet would be proud!
Revisado: 06-09-18
The author delves into the logistics of what a D&Dish murder hobo economy would look like and how it would work. Mr. Pike manages to deal with issues like discrimination of monstrous races, and even drug abuse in a very real way. Despite the dour subject matter it's presented in a comical fashion that doesn't cheapen the emotional impact of what's going on. In short if you want a riveting comical story about redemption, loss, prejudice and corruption check out Orconomics!
