When he stepped down in January 2017 as the fourth US Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper had been President Obama's senior intelligence advisor for six and a half years, longer than his three predecessors combined. He led the US Intelligence Community through a period that included the raid on Osama bin Laden, the Benghazi attack, the leaks of Edward Snowden, and Russia's influence operation on the 2016 US election.

Truth to power
Revisado: 01-07-19
A valiant love story of a gallent, intelligent, and wise man's epic life while serving this country.
Here, James Clapper, details our country's evolvement over his life time, most of which was spent working in intelligence.
If enough of us read this, allow ourselves to hear truth, real truth, and then respond by pushing for the values this country was built upon, we have a chance to become healthy again, United again, and to save our democracy.
If you read any book this year about what is happening, and what really happened to us, and the division that has been wrought, read this book!

Tyler Dilts is evolving into a remarkable writer!
Revisado: 04-23-18
A thriller that shares with remarkable insight and compassion, from the perspective of, "damaged people." A work that is at first a bit disconcerting, because the main two characters are wounded, and surviving in a life far removed from their former normal lived. One by gunshot the other by dementia.
Ironically the book reveals insights into what it is like to survive trauma and loss, as well as the power of love, with characters who rise to a higher level of their humanity.
It's a well crafted story, and difficult to or down. Dilt's
best so far.
