Historia
How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

Definitely a book to read if you don’t honestly understand the term. I learned more about myself in 6 hours than in 6 years of therapy. If only society were truly blind!

Love LOVE Love James Patterson Books...
Having “book” read 30 Novels and watched many Movies by James Patterson, I was disappointed with my first Audible listen of this author.
I’m not giving up....I love “listening” and I hope Audible has many more James Patterson stories ahead.

Four years after his father died a hero's death fighting a fire, Tim Ginocchetti was behind bars for killing his mother. How one tragedy led to another is a true story that puts a horrifying twist on the familiar one of bullied gay teens. Perfect Road Trip Binge
Revisado: 12-12-20
Had I read the description first, I would’ve scrolled on. Typically, I choose Non-Fiction, True Crime or Documentaries. It was the reviews that hooked me. All of the actors were tremendous. One in particular: the General - I just knew it had to be Samuel L. Jackson - until end credits. This story is perfect for ages 16-99+, both believers and nonbelievers of Extraterrestrials as well as those who do or don’t follow Jesus Christ.
I was left questioning: do I (or you the reader) believe in the theories of total government control? Nah!!!! This was a fun story and I’m happy to recommend this Audiobook Original with all of my friends on Social Media.

A MUST READ
Revisado: 07-04-20
I purchased this book based on its reviews rather than its content. I am so glad I did. Thank you, Jeanine Cummins, the author. I believe your cousins would be and your brother is proud. I am one of the “curious humans” you write about. However, your story has forever changed my views on the death penalty. Your story has also pushed a “reset”: do I allow my mindless curiosity to read more about the crime and the perpetrator or shift that energy by helping to make a difference in the victim’s healing? I am forever changed. Victims of violent crimes deserve more!

Historia
Thirty years ago, Wilde was found as a boy living feral in the woods, with no memory of his past. Now an adult, he still doesn't know where he comes from, and another child has gone missing. No one seems to take Naomi Pine's disappearance seriously, not even her father - with one exception. Hester Crimstein, a television criminal attorney, knows through her grandson that Naomi was relentlessly bullied at school. Hester asks Wilde - with whom she shares a tragic connection - to use his unique skills to help find Naomi.

In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

Authentic, Powerful and Deeply Moving
Revisado: 10-09-18
I’ve never written a book review, please forgive my ignorance. I appreciate Trevor Noah’s ability to be vulnerable and tell his truth. I praise his mother, her ability to stay positive while enduring domestic violence. This book has truly moved me beyond words.
