Historia
Jessica enters a fly fishing competition at a nearby lake. Joining her is the sheriff's wife, Maureen Metzger, who surprises Jess with her enthusiasm for the sport. Their guide, however, is a surprise to both....Brian Kinney is an ex-con. Jailed as an accomplice to Darryl Jepson, a convicted killer, Brian was later exonerated, but not before spending seven years behind bars. He seems like a decent enough fellow. Just a man trying to rebuild his life as a family man and fishing guide.

Any additional comments?
I don't know who to blame but the way Mort's wife, Maureen, was portrayed, it was like listening to Jessica talk to a 5 year old kid for hour after hour. Apparently the woman has a voice like a little girl (the narrator's doing) and knows NOTHING about ANY subject that is discussed, from fishing to the justice system, despite being married to a Sheriff (the author's doing). After trying for 2 hours, I had to give up. Too bad because I ALWAYS love the Murder She Write books. I've never turned one off before now. In fact, I usually listen multiple times just because I enjoy them so much.

Historia
Mayhem. You won't find this story on television. Hollywood gets more than it bargained for when television's hottest star arrives at the Miami Police Department and develops an intense, professional interest in a camera-shy blood spatter analyst named Dexter Morgan. Mega-star Robert Chase is famous for losing himself in his characters. When he and a group of actors descend on the Miami Police Department for "research", Chase becomes fixated on Dexter Morgan, the blood spatter analyst with a sweet tooth for doughnuts and a seemingly average life.

The emotional sociopath who's now all talk...
Revisado: 09-29-13
Is there anything you would change about this book?
Considering it is a book about a sociopathic serial killer, I would like to hear more than 10 minutes of murder & mayhem.
What do you think your next listen will be?
Thankfully, NOT a Dexter book as I believe this is the last one in the series. At least I hope it is because I simply MUST listen to them when they come out, despite the fact that the last 3 have been terribly ridiculous.
Which scene was your favorite?
Whether they admit it or not, anyone listening to Dexter books listen because they like seeing life through the eyes of a psychopathic serial killer. Therefore, the scenes when Dexter is on the prowl are always the best.
Do you think Dexter's Final Cut needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
PLEASE NO!!!
Any additional comments?
Thanks for the first 2 Dexter books, Jeff, but please STOP already! Maybe take up narrating if you've run out of ideas because your performances are GREAT!
