Having followed Phil’s writing journey, it seems the natural destination for this book. I like the ‘dip in dip out’ style this book offers. Many snippets with undertones of personal development. As Phil mentions early on in the book, if you’re looking for a book with ‘can-do back slapping’ vibe then this isn’t it. He becomes disheartened by the personal development world where authors promise the world ..but only if you follow them. This is not Phil; he keeps it real and it’s infectious. I’d recommend this book to most as I feel depending on where you’re at in your journey, it offers something for all. For me it came at the right time as I have read many books that offer me something and after I finish reading it the good feeling disappears.
Once again, cracking book and worth a read.

A unique slant on personal development. One third of our incarnate life may be asleep. What can be accomplished during this hitherto unexplored time. Loads of practical excerises to get involved with. Totally different from anything I’ve pondered before. It makes sense; we spend so much of our time sleeping so why not use this huge chunk of time wisely! Once again, highly recommend this to anyone upon the path of personal development.

You and Me Make Three is so
Wonderfully quirky. The message of interdependence in life runs deeply through this. I’d say it’s a fairly easy read/listen and the use of the character ‘Inno’ makes for some subtle humor.
The subtitle ‘most explosive equation in history’ really had me thinking about just how powerful this really is. Certainly a philosophy I’ll be applying to my everyday life.

After reading Phil’s last book, Empowerment, The 49 Steps came as a pleasant surprise. Being a big music fan, I enjoyed the quirky use of titles and characters in the stories. As always, totally thought provoking, but subtlety so. I enjoyed being able to dip in and out of the book and taking it one story at a time. At times, stories more light hearted than others but certainly took time at the end to ponder on their deeper meanings.
Really thoroughly enjoyed this one and great to see such a range in style from an author.

Having listened to Murray’s first two books, I was excited to listen to the third one. This one is very different. The depths it reaches are more spiritual, lots of practical exercises that really kept me on track. It was long and at times hard but I feel richer for listening. It says it is a practical guide to success but I think it’s more than that. It takes you into realms I wasn’t expecting. True spirituality. Very very interesting and as I said, the practical side of it made it that much better. Be prepared to dedicate some time to this one but what you put into it, you will get out.

This piece offers some unique perspectives. It is relevant; yet refreshingly different than most. Thought provoking with heavy emphasis on self-reflection and connecting our inner selves with the responsibilities we have to the spaces we occupy. This book offers practices to help us align our thoughts with positivity and success.
