This is a great story.
Revisado: 10-30-12
I like the story's topic and found myself wiping a few tears. The narrator doesn't try to do characterization but has great expression and is easy to listen to..

Historia
Four men, one calling: to serve and protect. As law enforcement officers, Adam Mitchell, Nathan Hayes, and their partners willingly stand up to the worst the world can offer. Yet at the end of the day, they face a challenge that none of them are truly prepared to tackle: fatherhood. They know that God desires to turn the hearts of fathers to their children, but their children are beginning to drift....

This book is a wonderful call to serve Christ and to take our places as Christian men and women (yes, women) in the world today. If you listen to this book I promise you will be touched and changed by it.

Historia
Here is the kind of authentically detailed epic novel that has become Louis L’Amour’s hallmark. It is the compelling story of US Air Force major Joe Mack, a man born out of time. When his experimental aircraft is forced down in Russia and he escapes a Soviet prison camp, he must call upon the ancient skills of his Indian forebears to survive the vast Siberian wilderness.

Not Worth Buying
Revisado: 05-30-12
I've read this book many times, considering it to be the best of Loius L'amour however the narrator did a poor job. His pronounciation is right for people who are speaking English with a Russian accent but his expression is very poorly done. The reading doesn't flow. I am very dissappointed.

Penniless Elinor is rather surprised at the carriage that meets her from the stage, and more so at the decayed grandeur of the house to which she's transported. Realising that there has been a case of mistaken identity she agrees to an audacious plan.

Georgette Heyer at the best
Revisado: 05-30-12
I enjoyed the book and the narration a lot. I am a fan of Georgette Heyer, loving the details she puts into her novels and I felt like the narration brought the book alive. I would reccommend this book to any of her fans.

Great performance but that's all.
Revisado: 01-23-12
Although the readers/actors do a great job of the characters I found it really difficult to follow the story line. In fact I was sorry that I didn't have the book in front of me to tell me who was talking and what else was happening. The characters sounded realistic enough so, if you know the story really well, by all means buy this dramatization, but if it is new to you, you will be lost.

Story Comes Alive

Although I had read this book several times since I was a child, and enjoyed it, I loved the way the narrator brought it alive. He does the different characters with skill, making you think that there is, for sure, several people doing the narration. Listen to this one for pure enjoyment and to get the kids hooked on the classics.
