Historia
It Worked for Me is filled with vivid experiences and lessons learned that have shaped the legendary career of the four-star general and former Secretary of State Colin Powell. At its heart are Powell's "Thirteen Rules" - such as "Get mad, then get over it" and "Share credit" - that introduce his principles for effective leadership: conviction, hard work, and, above all, respect for others. A natural storyteller, Powell offers warm and engaging parables with wise advice on succeeding in the workplace and beyond.

Entertaining and Educational
Revisado: 02-16-23
I really enjoyed this book, it should be on every leader’s reading list. I’m going to buy a hard copy version so that I can highlight sections and refer back to it easier.

Historia
As the fledgling nation looked west to the land beyond the Appalachian Mountains, it turned to the Army to advance and defend its national interests. Clashing with Spain, Britain, France, Mexico, the Confederacy, and Indians in this pursuit of expansion, the army's failures and successes alternately delayed and hastened western migration.

Speed it up
Revisado: 10-16-18
The narrator is terrible. It sounds like a computer read it. I had to speed it up to 1.5x just to be able to stand listening to it. The story reads like a textbook, very little analysis or actual story to it, just facts. I wouldn’t recommend this book unless you have a very deep interest in the subject.

Historia
Walter Frank tackles, in a comprehensive but lively manner, subjects rarely treated in one volume. Aiming at both the general listener and students of political science, law, or history, Frank begins with a brief discussion of the nature of constitutional law and why the Court divides so closely on many issues. He then proceeds to an analysis of the Constitution and subsequent amendments, placing them in their historical context.

I enjoyed it
Revisado: 11-09-16
It was a good...listen. Performance was good, it wasn't monotone but also wasn't over the top like the guy was trying to win an Oscar. There were lots of examples and case reviews, which helped make sense how it applies. I thought it was a good intro to the constitution and constitutional law.
