Historia
In the early 2000s, after years of hard work and determination to breakthrough as an actor, Bethany Joy Lenz was finally cast as one of the leads on the hit drama One Tree Hill. Her career was about to take off, but her personal life was slowly beginning to unravel. What none of the show’s millions of fans knew, hidden even from her costars, was her secret double life in a cult. An only child who always wanted a place to belong, Lenz found the safe haven she’d been searching for in a Bible study group with other Hollywood creatives. However, the group soon morphed into something more sinister.

Enticing and riveting!

Being a huge fan of OTH, hearing the voice of Haley read her own personal story was simply incredible. So brave, so eloquent, so descriptive. Highly recommend!

How would you feel if you could instantly create a deep genuine connection with anyone you meet? Not by just making eye contact and smiling, but by allowing them to feel truly heard and appreciated for who they really are. Most people aren’t born with the ability to create powerful connections with anyone they meet. But the few who learn how are those charismatic individuals that we’re all naturally drawn to.

Chock full of platinum brain nuggets!

I took a lot away from this book. Nathaniel (narrator) did an excellent job of delivering the contents in a way that made them easy to digest.
I didn’t realize how horribly I’ve been listening in my own life and I’m grateful to this book for the wisdom and skills I have gained after reading it.

10/10!
Revisado: 04-30-23
All of the content in this book is SO applicable to everyday life. If you’re like me and you find yourself needing guidance navigating this crazy world we now live in, I’m here to tell you this book is chalk full of PLATINUM nuggets.
Not to mention how EASY a listen this was thanks to the narrators incredibly warm and welcoming tone and his ability to really convey the contents of the book in a way that doesn’t make you feel ashamed or embarrassed that you maybe don’t know what you’re doing, but rather that, hey, none of us do and that’s okay! Nathaniel (narrator) was able to keep the overall tone of this book helpful and out of feeling like there’s any shame in admitting we all need a little help sometimes.
I can’t tell you how much this book truly helped me with facing so many of the everyday struggles I imagine more than just myself find we run into on a pretty “normal” basis yet find ourselves having trouble communicating about openly. It’s so nice to know we aren’t alone in our struggles, something this book provides listeners with incredible ease. Excellent read!
