I really enjoyed this story and the journey to forgiveness and new beginnings. I really enjoyed the narrator also.

Great story

This is the fourth story in the Pine Mountain series but all books are stand alone. This is Teagan and Adrian's story. Adrian meets Teagan literally by accident. Teagan is a paramedic who reports to a call of a motorcycle vs minivan. Adrian's arm gets hurt in the accident which is a problem because he is the sous chef at La Dolce Vita. He is put on leave of absence and thinks he is going to go crazy after just a couple of hours. Teagan also helps at the Double Shot. The bar and grill that her dad owns. When her dad has a serious health issue she takes over full time at the Double Shot. When her cooks walks out that is when Adrian walks in and the fun begins. Teagan finds out that her dad borrowed money from a sleazy loan shark who now wants his money or will start using the Double Shot to launder his money. The staff at the Double Shot pull together to put on a street fair to raise the money to pay the loan shark off. While working day in and day out, Teagan and Adrian can't deny the feelings they have for one another. Will they raise enough to save the Double Shot? Will they be able to keep Adrian out of trouble with his parole officer?

This was such a good story and I really enjoyed it and highly recommend. The narrator did a fantastic job!

Very fun, steamy ride.

What did you love best about Hard Ride?

I enjoyed the chemistry between Katie and Houston. I also enjoyed the backstory of someone embezzling from Katie's company.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Houston because he was just a sexy guy who knew how to give and take.

Which character – as performed by W.B. Ward – was your favorite?

Definitely Houston.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Hop in! It is going to be a bumpy ride.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed ths title. Katie and Houston's chemistry was off the charts and the steamy scenes were really hot. The mystery of who was stealing from the company was interesting also. I thought it was a great performance by W.B. Ward.

Would you listen to Dante's Fire again? Why?

I would. I really enjoyed the story and the person doing the narration.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Dante's Fire?

I think one of the most memorable moments for me was when Dante had the dream about what happened to his mother and how he received his scar.

Have you listened to any of Anne Johnstonbrown’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the first performance that I had the pleasure to listen to.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I think there are several moments that move me because of the tenderness of Dante and how his love for Selena comes shining through whether he is Daniel or Dante.

Any additional comments?

I loved this story and enjoyed the modern take on a superhero. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
