Historia
It’s the winter of 1776, a year that brings with it a fiery new spirit of colonial independence. Tensions simmering over a decade have finally come to a boil, and the rebel government in Philadelphia, determined to cast off the chains of British tyranny, has authorized the creation of the United States Navy—a brazen act of American aggression against the greatest maritime power in the world.

I was pleased to hear characters accents were distinguishable from each other and done well. The story line was easy to follow and understood. The action sequences seemed very realistic. Overall this audio book was a satisfying listen.

What a wonderful story. Sneha Mathan voice is so soothing to hear.
Alka Josh’s story encompasses many of life’s ups and downs in a time where social norms placed enormous pressure on the lives and emotions of everyone. A powerful story of love and understanding!
