An age-old theme updated to perfection
Revisado: 04-04-25
The beginning moved slowly but once the story took off, I didn’t want to stop listening. I can’t think of anything else to say without spoiling it, so let me just say that I recommend this story!

Now, this is what I call a thriller! The story had great character development and a twisty, twirly plot that had me coming and going. I could not stop listening. I highly recommend this novel. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

A Treasure!
Revisado: 03-07-24
I hesitated to read this book for a while, because other reviewers said it was sad. I didn’t want to listen to a depressing story—, but I dove in anyway. I’m sorry that I waited so long to dive in. The story is captivating, insightful, and has an overall spirit of perseverance and determination. I’m still thinking about DiKambe/Celestine long after the story’s end. I loved it. I highly recommend this book.

Everything I’ve Been Looking For
Revisado: 12-15-23
I loved this book because it gave me all the answers to the questions I didn’t even know I had about filmmaking. I truly appreciate the insight as I enter my own filmmaking journey. Some of the material is a bit dated, but the core lessons are still invaluable.

Historia
Rare-book dealer Ashlyn Greer’s affinity for books extends beyond the intoxicating scent of old paper, ink, and leather. She can feel the echoes of the books’ previous owners—an emotional fingerprint only she can read. When Ashlyn discovers a pair of beautifully bound volumes that appear to have never been published, her gift quickly becomes an obsession. Not only is each inscribed with a startling incrimination, but the authors, Hemi and Belle, tell conflicting sides of a tragic romance.

Surprisingly Wonderful
Revisado: 11-10-23
Initially, I didn’t bond with the narration of the Ashlyn character. But as soon as the character began to read the book within the book, the story became alive to me. I was captivated and didn’t want to stop listening. I loved the story development, and the quotes about books. Overall, it is a beautifully written story and I highly recommend it.

Warmed my Heart | Broke my Heart
Revisado: 06-21-23
I loved this book. It’s well-written with well-developed characters and story. I highly recommend it! I loved it so much, I’m going to look for more from this author.
However, there was one section that felt too much like a history lesson (a wee bit preachy), and one of the characters did not get his just due within the pages. But we can imagine that things will work out for him.
But wonderful overall!

The incredibly moving and uplifting new novel from the author of The Man I Think I Know. Kerry Hayes knows exactly who she is: a single mum, a cleaner and Mariah Carey's biggest fan. Noah Martineau thinks he knows who he is: a successful barrister, with a wife, daughter and big house in Primrose Hill. Strangers with nothing in common. Strangers living worlds apart. But it wasn't always this way...and Noah and Kerry are about to discover just who they really are.
