Historia
In short, frisky sections, these Parisian women give you their very original views on style, beauty, culture, attitude and men. The authors—Anne Berest, Audrey Diwan, Caroline de Maigret, and Sophie Mas—unmarried but attached, with children—have been friends for years. Talented bohemian iconoclasts with careers in the worlds of music, film, fashion and publishing, they are untypically frank and outspoken as they debunk the myths about what it means to be a French woman today.

What made the experience of listening to How to Be Parisian Wherever You Are the most enjoyable?
It was an enjoyable listen. However, her voice was not the right choice. Much to grandmotherly and it didn't seem to go with the the content which was great.
Would you recommend How to Be Parisian Wherever You Are to your friends? Why or why not?
Yes, for a light listen on a short trip.
Would you listen to another book narrated by Carrington MacDuffie?

Historia
Most days you wouldn't trade what you have for the world. You love your husband and your kids, and you are grateful to God for your life. But there are days when you feel as though life is rolling over you in waves, and you are just going through the motions. You find yourself aching for something more, something that is calling to depths of who you are, maybe for something you can't even name.

Not what you think
Revisado: 10-27-15
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
The summary of the book makes it seem as if the story is about a woman chasing her dreams and becoming who she wants to be. It's a 5 1/2 hour long book, and for the first 2 hours all I have hears is biblical references, prayers, and understanding the differences between God given desires and flesh given desired. Point being, God loves us. This is not what I was expecting.
Would you be willing to try another one of Sarah Mae’s performances?
No.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
If I were after a Christian self help book then yes.
Any additional comments?
I want my money back.
