Historia
Winston (a music journalist from Tennessee) is given an assignment to travel to Ohio in order to cover the live music scene and visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, where the Johnny Cash tour bus has remained parked for several years. He sets his sights on proving once and for all that the new music scene is still alive and well, but this, however, was no easy task. Initially he struggles to find a concert that's worth attending, until he stumbles on a live rock show from one of the early pioneers.

ch. 1-3 story / ch. 4 outlaw content
Revisado: 03-21-22
Based off the other review, I took their advice and went to chapter 4 to skip past the story and start listening to the “outlaw” content. I did listen to chapter 1 and part of ch. 2, and other than name dropping, there didn’t seem to be the deep synthesis and discussion of the musicians/songwriters. Chapter 4 gave me hope as it started off, but by it didn’t reach near the depth I was hoping to hear. I went into this with the sole intention of learning more about DAC, but I can’t say anything was discussed that I already didn’t know. In fact, the urban legend I had heard was he had taught Charles Manson how to play guitar, not the other way around as this book states.
For those out there looking to consume more content regarding the outlaw movement I would suggest looking up @Nightrain76 for DAC content, and @OtisGibbs for outlaw content on YouTube. The former has some great DAC footage, and the latter is an account dedicated to telling stories about those in the outlaw movement.
