Historia
Deacon Reid was born bad to the bone with no intention of changing. A lifetime of law-bending and living on the edge suits him just fine, until his baby sister dies and he finds himself raising her little girl. Staring down a family history of bad decisions and reaped consequences, Deacon cashes in everything he owns, purchases an auto shop in Half Moon Bay, and takes his niece, Zig, far away from the drug dens and murderous streets they grew up on.

I love Rhys's books! By the way Spencer did an amazing job with the narration. He was capable of bringing out the magic and capture the essence of each character. Can't wait to read more from this author and listen to more of this narrator! Happy listening!

Good!
Revisado: 08-15-16
I totally love the story between James and Steve. It's what you could expect from Jeff Rivera. The angst, passion, the sexiness the taboo! Who doesn't want a silver daddy! LOL! Know about the narration. It took me at least a few chapters to get into the story. At the beginning then a raider talk too fast and I'm not saying that the speed was fast, it's more debt he didn't make any pauses or necessary one in between sentences. Because it was in the first few chapters, it made it difficult to go back to the story each time I have to hear it. After maybe the fourth chapter it's when everything settles down a bit. He does that a few times in between chapters but because I have to it at the beginning, by that time I was accustomed to it. I didn't like it that he did it but overall it wasn't bad.
