New series in Haven Heart
Revisado: 11-04-21
I am a big fan of the Haven Heart series and Atlas was in one of the books.
I didn't know what to think about Atlas being a character as I'd seen him in the other series and didn't think highly of him.
Thank fully the author gave us a smooth transition to a new series.
I also like the fact that this is Atlas's book and series.
It id not the Haven Heart series.
So it's different but still as well written as the author is good.
I like this new world.
the secondary characters are what will bring me back again because I love well rounded books that make me want to know more about everyone.
I will be listening to all these books! I am so excited!

I'll be honest. I already owned this book in kindle but since it is a re-read for me I decided to try to audio. That way I have more options when I need a pick me up.
The only issue with this is sometimes the audio doesn't live up to a great book.
That is not the case here. The narrator did a fantastic job.
Now I can enjoy the audio over and over just like the kindle book.
Thank you!

With the world in chaos around us, the only thing I could do was try to keep Felix safe as we searched for our older brother. We’d been traveling for over two years, searching Ministry camp after Ministry camp and trying to steer clear of the Rebels. I didn’t know what to do when we ran into a whole group of shifters with guns. But then the huge, gorgeous guy that found us did the unthinkable....

Revisado: 02-21-18
Where does Illegal Contact rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I was a little concerned with some of the reviews for the dual narration. I'm glad I took the chance. I enjoyed the way the story was told.
Any additional comments?
This is a good MM story with nice sex scenes and a better story. I enjoyed the way the story unfolded and couldn't wait to find out what happened. I'm ready for number two.

A magical tale
Revisado: 07-05-17
What made the experience of listening to The Lightning-Struck Heart the most enjoyable?
I'm not a fan of dragon books, never have been. I think they've been overdone and really... how much can you do with a dragon? It's just not my cup of tea. But I know there is a reason the genre is popular I just don't buy the books.
Then this came out. And I thought...well, I'll give it a try. I like TJ Klune and I have a credit so why not.
OMG! The cast of characters...WOW! OMG! I wish I'd gotten this book sooner, is it too early to reread?
What other book might you compare The Lightning-Struck Heart to and why?
At first I wasn't sure about the narrator. But the voices match my view on the characters. It's almost Epic how much this story is brought to life.
So poor Sam, a wizard in training, in love with a knight.
Love Gary and Tiggy, Love Tiggy!
Kevin- best dragon ever!
The knight and prince- love the plot twists and turns involving these two.
So many unexpected scenes. This might be one of the most thought out, creative, worlds that I've ever read. Even though I already liked the author, I'm shocked by the way this story unfolded.
Which scene was your favorite?
The humor, OMG! Yes I laughed out loud. Yes, I actually had to stop reading and wipe the tears from my eyes. How does TJ Klune do that?
I can't pick my favorite scene- it's just too hard.
Any additional comments?
I thought I'd enjoy the book- I had no idea I'd love it. Already purchased the next book in kindle format.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
You know when you find a series and you just want it to go on forever? Well this is one of those for me. If you enjoy MM romance with the perfect amount of plot, strong characters, emotion, and story telling you should read this book. I do recommend reading them in order but only because the books are just so great.
What does Scott R. Smith bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
This narrator is very talented. I don't know that I've listened to him or not but the way he connects with our characters is amazing. I would pick up more books that he narrates.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I already love this story. It's one of my auto re-reads in kindle addition so for it to come out in audio is just perfect. Luckily Mary Calmes uses only the best of the narrators out there and Nick Russo did a stunning performance. It's short and sweet but good for when you just need a quick fix.
Have you listened to any of Nick J. Russo’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, Nick Russo is one of my favorites. It's funny how a narrator can make or break a story, especially if you already love it, this was a perfect match.

Wow! Wasn't expecting a hit!
Revisado: 05-10-17
If you could sum up Alpha Barman in three words, what would they be?
Action, Adventure, Love
Who was your favorite character and why?
Jake left his covert unit after the death of his sister by his best friend, brother in law, and team mate. You know this from the beginning. Then the team arrives to watch over Jake after Riley escapes custody. Let the fun begin. I loved Jake. He is a character that your heart just breaks for. However Mitch is it for me. Hot Alpha male who had his heart broken when Jake left without a word. Mitch is bossy, dominant, and pissed off. Perfect combination to put these two together with.
What does Greg Boudreaux bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Perfect voices! I couldn't have picked a better narrator. Mitch just makes me shiver.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I couldn't stop listening! I listen when I'm driving or if I have a mundane task at work. I skipped over my tv shows last night. I didn't want the book to end! The plot twists and turns were perfect and even until the last chapter the unexpected happen!
Any additional comments?
I look forward to the next book. This isn't an auto buy author from me. If I come across a book of hers that I like I might buy it. This book sat in my wishlist for awhile. The blurb does not do it justice. I would auto buy this entire series. The secondary characters are just as awesome!

Good story overall
Revisado: 05-10-17
What made the experience of listening to Poppy's Secret the most enjoyable?
I enjoy Andrew Grey and even though this is a shorter book I still enjoyed it very much. I liked the way the author didn't slam the two main characters together and bam its perfect. The story was well written. The narrator did a very good job.
Which character – as performed by John Solo – was your favorite?
This is a new to me narrator. I enjoyed him very much. He had both men perfectly and even the female characters worked. That's not something you find every time.

Historia
As the landlord of The Dragon's Lair and leader of The Black Dragons Motorcycle Club, Axel Carmichael has seen it all and done it all. He's a respected and experienced dom. Nothing shocks him anymore, and nobody catches him off guard. When Bayden rides up to The Dragon's Lair on a bike worth more than most men earn in a year, and immediately demonstrates that he has far more attitude than sense, it's easy for Axel to write him off as a silly little rich boy who's about to get himself killed.

A rare 5 star review
Revisado: 04-20-17
Where does Axel's Pup rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I don't give many 5 star reviews for audiobooks. It seems like it the story is great then the narrator won't be. If we have an awesome narrator the story won't be a 5 star effort. For once everything came together. And let me tell you, with Axel's Pup already being one of my favorite books I was really worried about this. Happily though I get to give both the narrator (who is new to me) and the book 5 stars!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Axel's Pup?
I've re-read this book so many times that when I found out it was available for audio I purchased it right away without even having a credit left. Yes, I don't mind spending my hard earned money for this!
My favorite moments in the book are when Bayden does penance and his big punishment after the second fight with Ford. These are what sealed the deal with me to how much Axel and Bayden belonged together.
The hottest moment is when Axel and Bayden pretend Axel is a wolf as well and Axel actually cuts his pants off. Woo! Hot! Fanning myself!
What about Chris Clog’s performance did you like?
He got the voices right and the feel of the characters. Bayden is not weak. He might be a sub but he is also a strong character. I loved how the narrator did not make him sound weak or give him a lisp or something like that. Axel's voice was perfect.
There were very small issues. I few times in the beginning he said Alex instead of Axel. I caught that probably because I love Axel so much. When Axel and Bayden's mom speak there is two lines delivered in her voice when it's actually Axel speaking. Easy to miss and did not distrupt the story at all.
I will admit at the very first I was thrown off. I knew the author was from the UK. I knew the book is set over there. Duh, so when I heard the accent it threw me. I actually paused the book to brace myself. I've never owned an audio book not being US accent. I am so glad I went on. It wouldn't have been right to have an US accent with the UK words. I just had to adjust.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I always have a strong reaction to good books. During this listen I even tapped back to listen to some parts a second time because they were so wonderful. This is the kind of book that allows you to really feel what the characters are going through.
Any additional comments?
I know the author said she is planning a second book. That made my month. While this book is great having more of Bayden and Axel, even the secondary characters is what's needed right now. I would love to see Hale with a wolf! Could you imagine that? OMG!
The world might not be perfect, but being able to escape into a book like this makes it tolerable.
