We fell in love with Josh through his stand up, Aussie series, and most recently his US based series. Josh has a unique perspective and an amazing talent for storytelling. Totally enjoyable and informative!!!

Historia
Harvey Fierstein’s legendary career has transported him from community theater in Brooklyn, to the lights of Broadway, to the absurd excesses of Hollywood and back. He’s received accolades and awards for acting in and/or writing an incredible string of hit plays, films, and TV shows.

What a life… what a storyteller.
Revisado: 04-02-22
I feel like I’ve just lived through nearly 60 years of history… Harvey’s history, gay history, Broadway history. And I’ve laughed my *** off along the way.
Harvey is an amazing storyteller and his life has been quite the story. This memoir is long overdue, and it leaves me itching for what’s next (Bella Bella!) and a strong desire to hunt down the video of him playing Torch Song off broadway.
If you are a fan, this will be like dinner and an evening of reminiscing. Loads of tea is spilled as you get a behind the scenes and in-the-head look at some pretty amazing productions.
If you’re not, yet, this is a beautiful story of a boy who grows into a man and deals with all of the fun of being Jewish, gay, dyslexic, and incredibly talented.
Truly an enriching, fun, insightful book made even better with the author’s own unique voice.
