Historia
When veteran war reporter Benjamin Hall woke up in Kyiv on the morning of March 14, 2022, he had no idea that, within hours, Russian bombs would nearly end his life. As a journalist for Fox News, Hall had worked in dangerous war zones like Syria and Afghanistan, but with three young daughters at home, life on the edge was supposed to be a thing of the past. Yet when Russia viciously attacked Ukraine in February 2022, Hall quickly volunteered to go. A few weeks later, while on assignment, Hall and his crew were blown up in a Russian strike.

What a lovely truth to be found between these people pages
Revisado: 11-27-20
I watch Jenna daily on The Today Show. This book told the reader not only a true story but evidence of what family looks like. How family makes love blossom and gives appreciation of everything in life. Some tear jerking, some funny, some thoughtful.
Thank you for sharing this deeply personal book.

Historia
Author of the National Book Award-winning All the Pretty Horses, Cormac McCarthy is one of the most provocative American stylists to emerge in the last century. The striking novel Blood Meridian offers an unflinching narrative of the brutality that accompanied the push west on the 1850s Texas frontier.

Disjointed
Revisado: 03-26-18
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
I found this book hard to follow. There were sections that I could follow and enjoyed but before I thought they should be over, another one began and it was so different....
What was most disappointing about Cormac McCarthy’s story?
above was the most disappointing part. Very hard to follow
Have you listened to any of Richard Poe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
The reader did an excellent job. For what he had to read, he was the best part.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
