Historia
The Jewish people are one of the oldest living people groups on the planet. The Jews lived alongside the ancient Egyptians, Babylonians, Phoenicians, and Sumerians - all of whom have since disappeared from the pages of history. Yet the Jews still remain. Despite all of the odds, Jewish culture, language, laws, and religion have remained intact over the course of thousands of years.

This book does a great job of covering a majority of the history in a reasonable time frame and depth. It’s an impressive feat that reads easily. It’s a great overview that provides just enough context to get you started in whatever time period you find most interesting, while framing it within the whole.

Historia
From the award-winning historian, war reporter, and author Damien Lewis (Zero Six Bravo, Judy) comes the incredible true story of the top-secret "butcher-and-bolt" black ops units Prime Minister Winston Churchill tasked with stopping the unstoppable German war machine. Criminals, rogues, and survivalists, the brutal tactics and grit of these "deniables" would define a military unit the likes of which the world had never seen.

This is one of the most fantastic books ever written. I was so pleased with the talented narrator who absolutely did the part justice. The beautiful and unforgettable story was read with realistic expression, proper enunciation, and relatable enthusiasm. A wonderful read and listen, I am so grateful.
