The events unfolded in these tales, the collected shards of my fractured memories, are neither sworn truths nor total fictions. We all know that two different witnesses to the same history standing right beside each other are likely to have differing opinions as to what just transpired before them. Because perceptions, those mirrors to our souls that authors are damned to try and change in others, are born of deeper stuff than mere experiences of perspective. The weight of human experience strongly suggests that this is rarely accomplished by telling the naked truth.

A fine way to spend an evening!!

These stories are true gems told by a narrator who, seemingly despite his best efforts, lived to tell the tales. They may only be fractions of a whole truth, but the stories are 100% worth a listen.
I loved listening to our narrator progress through a life fully lived, pulling me onwards as we dodged one catastrophe after the next, and are rewarded with those pearls of wisdom that only hindsight can provide.
