This book was so well done. I was sucked in from the beginning and the ending was not even close to what I thought it would be!

Albert Johannson's forgotten more than he remembers about his past, but two things he's sure of: hH's lived a long, long time, and he doesn't trust anyone, particularly gods. He's not too fond of demons either, particularly the one that shows up in his kitchen looking for help with a supernatural investigation.

The way the author describes stuff kind of drove me nuts. His one word description over and over and over. It irritated me but other then that it was an interesting book.

Historia
Even though Agatha Raisin loathes amateur dramatics, her friend Mrs. Bloxby, the vicar's wife, has persuaded her to support the local pantomime. Stifling a yawn at the production of Babes in the Woods, Agatha watches as the baker, playing an ogre, struts and threatens on the stage. Then a trapdoor opens… followed by a scream and then silence. Surely, this isn't the way the scene was rehearsed?

It was okay
Revisado: 12-13-20
The plot was up and down. The writing is kind of repetitive at times and the ending was not great. Could have been a better ending. Otherwise not a horrible listen.

This book was horrible, couldn’t even get past the first three chapters, nope not worth it at all. The wording is beyond annoying and the main character does stuff that no real person would ever do. NOT WORTH IT.

Heralded as an instant classic of fantasy literature, Maguire has written a wonderfully imaginative retelling of The Wizard of Oz told from the Wicked Witch's point of view. More than just a fairy tale for adults, Wicked is a meditation on the nature of good and evil.

Horrible
Revisado: 12-12-20
This was a horrific book. I have tried to listen to it roughly 3 times. The first time I was just over it in about 30 minutes. Boring. The second time I made it a few chapters in. This final time I made it maybe half way and gave up. It’s soooo boring, the description of stuff is bogged down and the writer just does too much in one small moment. Like move on already. I get it. Then other times I feel like the information is too quick and I have no idea what’s going on. I am not even sure how this became a play or how this became a best seller- totally not worth the purchase. Horrible and regret even trying to read it. DO NOT BOTHER LISTENING!

Erin Blake has one of those names. A name that, like Natalee Holloway or Elizabeth Smart, is inextricably linked to a grisly crime. As a toddler, Erin survived for three days alongside the corpse of her murdered mother, and the case - which remains unsolved - fascinated a nation. Her father's identity unknown, Erin was taken in by her mother's best friend and has become a relatively normal teen in spite of the looming questions about her past.
