Excellent narrative resource for pregnancy
Revisado: 07-20-23
I am currently six months pregnant and am an avid reader- I have read and listened to so many books on pregnancy and birth, and this one is a nice change from the manuals. It brings a narrative approach and tells the full stories of three women’s pregnancies, their ups and downs. I felt it validating of my myriad experiences and feelings. I am also planning on giving birth at Andaluz Waterbirth Center in Portland, OR and so this spoke to me even more closely for that reason! There is also a lot of very fascinating history of birth in America. Well written and researched. Thank you, Rebecca!
