I purchased this shortly before I finished part 1. I've enjoyed delving into the Bobiverse.
This book continued in the same fun spirited nature of the first, all while throwing in nerd jokes that only nerds would catch, and expanding the scope of characters both old and new.
Narration was superb, full of expression and magnificent execution. Some minor aspects of the story were, at times, predictable. Yet it contained many cool twists.
I'll get to books 3 & 4 at some point. They are on my wish list.

Funniest Sci-Fi some Hitchhiker's Guide

Not just a good story, with intelligent Sci-Fi, but also funny and conceivably believable.
The performance was stellar. A great storyteller with many voices at his command. Looking forward to more from this series.

Captivating from start to end

A true story teller. As someone of the same age I saw many parallels, though my life was completely different
, and the stories exciting and humorous. the seven-year philosophy it's something I also have shared for several decades and did not realize others thought similarly. I will listen to this again.
the music contained in the audiobook was equally amazing

Wonderful History and Perspective

95% of the book moves well and keeps interest with facts, quotes, perspectives and historical accounts of the birth and growth of Anti Fascist movements around the world.
The narrators use of accents, though occasionally helpful to differentiate quotes, became tiring at times.
overall good history and broad understanding of a highly misunderstood philosophy, political stance, and organization, or lack there of.

Magnificent Voice Acting!

I had never heard of Retta before this audiobook. Her projection, emphasis, emotion, humor, and overall spectacular acting made this a book whose storytelling surpassed the story itself.
Though I found the story humorous, well written, and structured to keep interest and anticipation, the real 5 stars come from Retta's spectacular reading of the script.

One of the greatest "science for everyone" books ever! Intelligent and philosophical, yet understandable and entertaining.
LeVar Burton's narration was superb. A book to go back to again and again.

I'll listen again.... and again

A favorite book of mine for 30 years. The performance is perfectly executed with excellent dramatization and believability.
The intro by Anthony Burgess explained points that I had not previously known.
The first time I got to hear the final chapter, that was cut from the American version, as well as the cinematic version.
Might be my favourite Audible purchase. Highly recommended (for those that can take sex snd violence, with a moral)
