Historia
Addiction makes you the tennis ball in a match between self-loathing and depression. Every binge leads to self-loathing, the self-loathing leads to depression, which in turn leads to more binging. It's time to break that cycle. As a former USA boxing coach and current certified CrossFit trainer with twenty years of experience in the fitness industry and an equal amount of time spent battling sugar addiction, I'll share discoveries from my own experience. The Sugar Demons covers my entire journey from realizing I have an addiction to the moments that put me back in control.

Very practical. Easy advice to follow. I enjoyed it. Listened twice. I recommend this. Not too long of a listen.

You…meet me! Me…meet you!

Learning the root causes of who and why you are and why you behave the way you do or don’t do is part of your self discovering journey. This doesn’t have all the answers or may not be a fit for everyone but if you’re self aware you may find something that benefits you in one way or another. I enjoyed it.

a prayer answered
Revisado: 12-02-23
I've been on a journey trying to. figure out what is wrong with me? My memory is shot, I can't focus worth crap and when I'm doing a task for a lengthy period of a time I go into trance and people always ask me what's wrong with me? Around seven minutes in on the Stress Chapter when he talks about ADHD he hits the nail on the head. I keep listening and he goes more and more teaching so many points about how are brains are impacted by our life experiences, the environment that we're constantly living in and the social relationships that we have or don't have. I'm so glad I came across this very informative book.

Pretty useful and nicely told

I understand that not everyone will benefit from this but I struggle with attention and short term memory. This is very helpful for me. He kept me engaged throughout the story and the exercises are helpful too.
