I did not previously have a windows into his non-work activities. Every position he held arose from relationships and skills of his previous endeavors. He never owned a traded stock. Carnegie's gifts have shaped my life, and so I enjoyed learning more about his life.

Gaslighting is an enormously important topic to understand know how to address. Sadly, the author presents the topic in a sexist and politically-slanted manner, to the point of beinpg terribly distracting. In every example, it is a woman being gaslighted or a Republican doing the gaslighting. I'm sorry, but real life isn't so imbalanced. The author also fails to explain the frequent relationship between gaslighting and narcissism, and other Cluster B personality disorders. Gaslighting often is more a symptom than a direct issue, and therefore addressing the symptom is a fool's errand. Aside from the above, the author seems to explain the issue well and presents good corrective strategies.
