Powerful story and a profound message. Makes you stop to smell the coffee and reflect on your own life. History as told by the people who were there is extremely insightful and powerful. I am so glad I read this book.

Critically important information for everyone, because we will all access the healthcare system in our lives.
Healthcare has become a revenue driven business model that puts profits ahead of health and people.
We are the ones paying for this. The healthcare industry is busy robbing the wealth from the American people. You have insurance companies, drug manufacturers and distributors, big hospital and physicians groups; as well as the goverment whose incentives are not aligned with ours, the consumers of healthcare.
We get no price and quality transparency, we are dealing with a massive bureaucracy, and we pay a fortune to have access to healthcare. These costs are steadily rising and hard working people can't afford the insurance, the out of pocket costs and the cost of getting medications.
