Historia
When I'm honorably discharged from the British Army on medical grounds following a brutal tour in Afghanistan, I use my skills as a combat medic to continue to save lives as a paramedic. I'm confident there's no situation I can't handle . . . until I'm teamed up with chirpy Grace Newton. She's everything I'm not—young, idealistic, and brimming with sunshine. Everything about her rubs me the right way, stirring wants and desires I thought were long dead. She should be off-limits—after all, I'm her mentor and work colleague. But one kiss has me wanting Grace's healing hands all to myself.

Terrible male narrator
Revisado: 08-29-24
This book was great and the female narrator was excellent. The male narrator was not able to bring the male part of the story to life. When I read the book and envisioned this beautiful hunk of a British soldier/paramedic he had a deep voice that brought safety and a protective nature to the forefront, listening to the male narrator all I could visualize was this pre-pubescent kid in high school trying to sound tough for the girl he liked. I am sure he is an amazing narrator on the norm but I was unable to finish listening to this book. Luckily I could get it on kindle and finished it very quickly.
