So I did not know much about Monica but I felt the other women blasting her when they were obviously talking about their other cast members was crazy. Then to say if she doesn’t get fired we continue film. Bravo should have said by to your franchise or have a reboot. I’m glad to hear you just as a person. Adam is always wonderful anyway, it’s like sitting at a table listening to two friends chat.

I listen to a lot of books. I have only returned one in all the years i have been with audible but I am returning this one. I feel bad to give a negative comment because the effort to come out with a book must be extreme. But this book could not get my interest and I am 1/3 of the way through. If by now it just seems like they are babbling along I don't want to waste my time hoping it will eventually get better.

I randomly picked this book. I had heard many people talk about how much they liked Nora Roberts books. I discovered they were correct as the book kept me turning it on every chance I got.

Great story if you can deal with the Narrator

These stories are great but the Narrators continual mispronunciation of words makes it seem like the character has a low intelligence level. It took me a while to realize it was the narrator mispronouncing words. Then she will later pronounce the same word correctly. They are not difficult words. Well known cities names, character names and Amazon. I thought books had producers who caught that stuff but apparently that is incorrect. However, the author writes excellent stories. I might have to go to regular books though. Now that I know the narrator is doing that it seems to bother me more and more every time she mispronounces basic words in the English language.

Predictable entire book club disliked this book

What would have made Fifteen Minutes better?
My book club picks from various types of books . We picked this one . It was so hard for me to get through and I usually never put a book down. The story seemed obvious which made it hard to keep my attention. Plus it seemed a little preachy . I think this book could have done much better if the story had been more developed. Even one of our members young daughters thought it was to easy to guess the story. Out of the club almost half stopped reading. I don't remember a time in our club where everyone did not finish the book. The others said they wished they had put it down also.
Would you ever listen to anything by Karen Kingsbury again?
No I will make sure never to listen to any of her books again it was to much a waste of my time
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Fifteen Minutes?
The beginning was good and story had promise but it went no where.
