I love that this book follows right along with all previous books in this series. It was a wild ride as I did not know what to expect with each encounter, hoping my favorite characters survived the many circumstances they find themselves in. Excellent listen, as the narrator is both captivating and consistent with character tones and voices. Highly recommend!!!

Michael Talbot is quite a character and it is great to hear the discussion and thoughts of others. Plus, learning how to properly pronounce Drababon.

The narration was great. I can't really say that I enjoyed this book, but it is well worth the listen. The content is well researched, but my gut was clenched and I was on edge through the entire book. the story is fantastic and I can't wait for book 2.

You know how at the end of a really good performance, when the audience stands up and claps for 20 minutes and throws flowers, while cheering, hooting and hollering, because the performance was excellent and life changing... me, either. I have really never experienced this personally, but have seen it in the movies. Anyway.... For this I would stand and cheer for 20 minutes, hoot and holler, and throw flowers. This was an amazing end to an epic series. I will miss this group of friends that I have grown to love, and hopefully will hear from again in other series by Mark Tufo. Thank you, Mr. Tufo, for writing this series which has brought me many hours of entertainment! And to Sean Runnette- thank you for bringing this book and it's characters to life. You are an incredible narrator and I don't think anyone else could have done this series justice. Thank you.

He did it again! Excellent!!!

Once again, Mark Tufo has written an excellent book and Sean Runnette has brought it to life. As always, Mike and Company find themselves in unbelievable situations that they cannot possibly survive, yet they do. Although I mourned the loss of one of my favorite characters, and missed many other favorites for most of the book, new characters were well written and quickly became part of the family. New monsters were introduced. Old rivals were defeated. This series is clearly headed in a new direction and I love it and can't wait!

This story always gets better and better!

Talbot and crew can get into and out of more dire situations than imaginable. Mike's thoughts and BT's reactions to those thoughts are always humorous. I found myself laughing out loud too many times while listening to this. Sean Runnette, as always, did a great job narrating and distinguishing all characters, and I love the way Mark was able to give him credit in the story for it. This is a great story and I can't wait for the next volume.

Great intro to what will be an excellent series. It is incredible what these three authors have created. It is unlike anything I have ever heard. Great performance by Scott Arielle. He did a great job of separating each character with different voices. Sebastian was so creepy that I will have nightmares. I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to more of this series.

Incredible story! I won’t give away spoilers, but this one kept me on the edge of my seat. I love seeing how the characters have grown through the series.
