Probably better to read than listen

I thought the story was good, but didn't enjoy as much as Love, Utley. As far as the audio - Andi NEVER misses. I usually like Christian Fox, but this was not his best. Also, the very short chapters made it seem really choppy. Every other sentence felt like they were announcing the chapter and POV. With almost 200 "chapters" it was a lot. I bought the paperback - I think this is one that's just better read than on audio.

I had to skip through the first book. I love Ava Erickson, but Jeremy York's voice came off super creepy with the story line. Obviously SebYo rebounded, but very disappointed in the first book.

The characters in this book were so immature, I just could not finish it. I usually don't mind these narrators, but it must have been the characters and story line because they just felt cringey on this one. Hoping Brutal Arrangement is a good rebound from this.
