I really enjoyed this book. it's done with creativity, fantastic story, and a great twist on a well used plot. I really like how there is so much positivity in the story. Great job of writing!

Historia
The year is 1348. Thomas, a disgraced knight, has found a young girl alone in a dead Norman village. An orphan of the Black Death, and an almost unnerving picture of innocence, she tells Thomas that plague is only part of a larger cataclysm - that the fallen angels under Lucifer are rising in a second war on heaven, and that the world of men has fallen behind the lines of conflict. Is it delirium or is it faith? She believes she has seen the angels of God. She believes the righteous dead speak to her in dreams. And now she has convinced the faithless Thomas to shepherd her across a depraved landscape to Avignon.

Fantastic story
Revisado: 02-03-21
Great story read very well. Set in 1300's France a young girl with divine guidance leads a rough and blasphemous former night and a not so holy priest through struggles of light and darkness through plague stricken lands.
Great listen!

Historia
Roland Deschain and his ka-tet are bearing southeast through the forests of Mid-World, the almost timeless landscape that seems to stretch from the wreckage of civility that defined Roland's youth to the crimson chaos that seems the future's only promise. Followers of Stephen King's epic series know Roland well, or as well as this enigmatic hero can be known. They also know the companions who have been drawn to his quest for the Dark Tower: Eddie Dean and his wife, Susannah; Jake Chambers; and Oy.

My fave
Revisado: 06-07-20
this book is my favorite of the entire series. It weaves so many stories into one book. there is supernatural, futuristic robots with free thinking, deception, honor and a side of Roland that you thought was there but had never seen.
