Historia
Some stories are too sensitive, painful or potentially damaging to share publicly - unless they can be shared anonymously. TED and Audible present, Sincerely, X, featuring speakers whose ideas deserve to be heard but whose identities must remain hidden. From lifesaving rituals to the unexpected gift of a prison sentence to the consequence of physician burnout; you won’t know the storyteller’s name, but their story may change you forever.

Inspiring
Revisado: 10-10-20
I liked that the stories featured in sincerely acts were told by people who chose to learn from their experience and to rise above it instead of blaming others for their circumstances. And went beyond that by helping others through their challenging experiences. We need more of that in our country today. The people who told their stories rose above the sometimes horrifying experiences in their life to tell their story and to help others who are also struggling. They chose to take a positive journey towards a solution rather than a negativeone in which they feel sorry for themselves and blame others. I enjoyed each and every story and it help me understand mental illness better.

Historia
From the hero whistleblower of the infamous Theranos scam, Thicker than Water is a look at never-before-revealed details behind closed doors at the company, revealing a cautionary tale of corporate bullying, gaslighting, ego, and wealth running amok in Silicon Valley. Tyler Shultz had been in the workforce for less than a year when he emailed Elizabeth Holmes, his employer and the CEO and founder of Theranos, with concerns that the company’s lab practices were faulty, ignored quality control, and were potentially dangerous to patients.

Compelling story of truth and Justice
Revisado: 09-19-20
It is refreshing to hear a story from someone so young who had the personal integrity despite huge personal sacrifice to do what was right for others.

Historia
Teenage girls are taking courses of testosterone and disfiguring their bodies. Parents are undermined; experts are over-relied upon; dissenters in science and medicine are intimidated; free speech truckles under renewed attack; socialized medicine bears hidden consequences; and an intersectional era has arisen in which the desire to escape a dominant identity encourages individuals to take cover in victim groups. Every person who has ever had a skeptical thought about the sudden rush toward a non-binary future but been afraid to express it - this book is for you.

Thank you for your courage
Revisado: 09-18-20
I commend Ms. Schreier for having the courage to write this book to expose to parents of girls and women around the world as to the reality of what is really happening with the transgender craze. Writing this book could save the lives and relationships of many young women and their families.

Historia
Professor Louis Moore’s audiobook about the history of African Americans in sports in the United States educates listeners about the fascinating social and cultural history of the nation. For example, integration of major league and professional sports broke a major color barrier for one of the first times in the early years of the Civil Rights Movement. African American athletes competed in America long before the 20th century - in fact, they even competed during the years of slavery.

Deep in my understanding of African-Americans struggles in athletics
Revisado: 07-19-20
I liked the fact that the author narrated this course. It adds so much more to the listener when you can hear the authors voice and the emphasis that he places on the various stories and things and themes that he is passionate about. I like the fact that he included female athletes as well as male athletes and I learned so much about the awesome female athletes of our country especially those who competed in the Olympics. I believe that all Americans regardless of race should read the history of the African Americans in this country and the struggles that they have gone through. It is only through understanding each other‘s struggles and viewpoints for the racial divide to disappear in this country. I am saddened by the fact that athletes like Michael Jordan who makes so much money do not take responsibility for helping the younger generations to develop programs and opportunities to help them rise out of poverty and joblessness.
