Wow. I had never wanted the main character to just die and the villain to succeed as much as I did in this book series.

We get it. The main characters love each other so much that they make unbelievably irrational decisions. When Cas refused to drink Poppy’s blood because he “didn’t” want to hurt her. Fine. But then she willingly accepted that after bringing him back from blood lust?!?!?!?!!!!!! Then left without seeing him get food and water? WTF. I couldn’t.

I cringed through painful hours of internal monologues, but no more. It seemed like this book just kept getting more and more childish.

I have 11 hours left of the book and I just want my credit back.

What is too much internal dialogue?

I didn’t think it was possible to to listen to a book that was so repetitive. Most of this book is H and h in there own internal dialogue about their feelings. More than half of the book is them in heat and rutting.

Character regression is the worst

The heroine couldn’t have been dumber. As soon as Tarak gave her the ultimatum and she decided to not say anything, I was done. Clearly character growth is not a thing in this series. How many stupid decisions could you possibly make before realizing you’re just an idiot.

Did not finish. Stoped at chapter 12. Over it. So annoying and drawn out it. The redundancy of recklessness the heroine exhibits over and over is not worth the next hours finishing this series. Worse is that everyone seems to enable her dumb choices.

If you like annoying heroines who don’t learn anything then this is the book for you.

I hate dumb heroines. She’s suppose to be a fighter pilot with superior skills so you would think she would have a handle on her emotions. Constantly does dumb things like walk around and touching plants knowing they can kill you. EVERYTHING on this planet can kill you and she’s just being stubborn and doing whatever she wants. Ugh

The male actor was like listening to nails on chalkboard

I couldn’t finish it. The voices the male character did for the other men were grating on my ears. I just couldn’t continue. Maybe I’ll just read the rest.

There was so much emphasis on the Hero convincing the heroine about good sex that the coven story was more of a background. It was like listening to a teenager who had no emotion the whole time. Every other sentence was about the heroine not having good sex. Ugh. Disappointed.

Holly crap that was good

I burn through audible escape books like no ones business. Sometimes I don’t even remember books I’ve listened too, but this one will be in the memory vault. Also, I rarely write reviews and this book was so devastatingly good that I’m compelled to have to write this.

The way it’s written was impeccable and sweet and not boring at all. No annoyingly helpless heroine and asshole hero. Seemed like actual real people in the way they dealt with hurdles and overcoming difficulties. Loved the little POV inputs of other characters as well. Such a great story!

Too be honest I’ve debated about listening to this story and kept putting it off. I’m glad I listened to it today!

Great story and amazing performance from the narrators! I didn’t want it to end. Sadly it had to and now I’m on a book hang over.

Who would put up with this shit?

The H and his are idiots for just assuming that h ratted then out. Who goes 3 years without confronting the person you thought did you wrong? The story was written well it’s just not realistic. I enjoyed reading it with tons of eye rolls.

Love and hate it

I rarely write a review but I felt I needed to write this. The heroine is annoying as fuck. Maybe it’s just the narrator. By the time I was sick of listening to the heroine I needed to know how it ends. I’ve definitely heard worse narrators, but meh. I love the story though. The stalking makes me uncomfortable
