I like James May, so if you, like me, will listen to whatever James has to say, you’ll enjoy this. But to first timers, this is a bit odd.

This was not a good listen. Far from Agatha Christie’s usually high standard. The story was bland and confusing.

I didn’t realize until late into the book that there was an accompanying PDF, which makes this more enjoyable, but I’d rather listen to the podcast than the audiobook. I didn’t find many of these subjects particularly interesting.

Amazing. Ben Watson does a great job of keeping this book very neutral. He shares his opinions and perspectives, but doesn’t shy away from the perspectives others may have. Everyone should give this book a read, it will inspire.

Why does everyone like this book? It wasn’t that good. There were parts that were interesting but it was so repetitive. The narrator has an obnoxious, sharp voice. Also, the answer to every question asked is: Habits.

Phil Knight Crete’s a powerful story about building the athletic apparel giant. I only wish the book was a little longer. 90% of the book covers birth to the company’s IPO, the other 10% seems rushed.

The Jackie Robinson story is a good one, but this isn’t that story. It’s extremely dull. The author does not paint any images in the readers heads. It’s basically a book full of 1940’s baseball facts. The characters are weak. The author spends way too much time discussing scores of minor league teams that have no relevancy to Jackie Robinson. This book was meant for baseball fanatics that are very interested in the sport’s history, not for curious readers.
