Once upon a time a guy showed up at my high school. He was new in town and kind of a nerd, but a cute nerd. He was also funny. And rich. The rich part made him instantly popular. I assumed he'd avoid me after he saw how people treated me. The teasing. The nicknames. Just being seen with me could ruin his reputation. So when he asked me out, I thought he was joking. Turns out he wasn't. I agreed to go on one date, thinking it wouldn't go anywhere. But then it did. That’s how our story began. How it ended… is not at all what I expected.

I have read a bunch of Allie’s books and loved them. But this one was just bad. Luna is just stupid and the book is over narrated. The voice is awful so monotone and hard to follow with dialogue as the voice doesn’t fluctuate between characters.
