Historia
Emily Craig has been a witness to history, helping to seek justice for thousands of murder victims, both famous and unknown. It’s a personal story that you won’t soon forget. Emily first became intrigued by forensics work when, as a respected medical illustrator, she was called in by the local police to create a model of a murder victim’s face. Her fascination with that case led to a dramatic midlife career change: She would go back to school to become a forensic anthropologist - and one of the most respected and best-known “bone hunters” in the nation.

She began her forensic career "late in life" and rose to excellence as a forensic anthropologist. Waco, Oklahoma City, and WTC. Wow!

Historia
Faced with the ceaseless stream of news about war, crime, and terrorism, one could easily think we live in the most violent age ever seen. Yet as New York Times bestselling author Steven Pinker shows in this startling and engaging new work, just the opposite is true: violence has been diminishing for millennia and we may be living in the most peaceful time in our species's existence.

Interesting insight into the fantasies of American
Revisado: 10-23-19
This book takes an interesting look into the sexual fantasies and attitudes of Americans. Not the actions, but the kinky thoughts people have.
Other than a few overused phrases ("to be clear") the audio book is very good. I highly recommend it.

Revisado: 09-24-19
This is a lecture for beginning students. The presenter has a very negative angle to everything involved in Crine Scene Investigations. The lecture has some good points, but this is not for the experienced CSI looking to expand their knowledge base.

Historia
The tale of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and the fall and redemption of Anakin Skywalker has become modern myth, an epic tragedy of the corruption of a young man in love into darkness, the rise of evil, and the power of good triumphing in the end. But it didn't start out that way. In this thorough account of one of cinema's most lasting works, Michael Kaminski presents the true history of how Star Wars was written, from its beginnings as a science fiction fairy tale to its development over three decades into the epic we now know, chronicling the methods, techniques, thought processes, and struggles of its creator.

An interesting analysis; Wonderfully researched!
Revisado: 09-18-19
This book is insightful and wonderfully researched. The analyses of the early Star Wars drafts, treatments, and storylines are very interesting and give the reader a other truth, from a "certain point of view". Some of the book seems repetitive, but this is likely unavoidable when writing about multiple versions of the same plot lines and character arcs. I enjoyed the book and would highly recommend it to someone interested in Star Wars, film making, and storytelling.
**the performance impressions of Lucas, Kurtz, Spielberg, Coppola, Hamill, and Ford (to name a few) are superb!!!!

Most books about the history of humanity pursue either a historical or a biological approach, but Dr. Yuval Noah Harari breaks the mold with this highly original book. From examining the role evolving humans have played in the global ecosystem to charting the rise of empires, Sapiens integrates history and science to reconsider accepted narratives, connect past developments with contemporary concerns, and examine specific events within the context of larger ideas.
