Excellent story! The fast pace and edge of your seat narration made this a must read! I love Will Damron narrations and found your books by searching for books Mr. Damron narrates.
However, it would be nice at the end of your books if you could tell your readers what is fiction and non-fiction….are the places, towns, buildings, & descriptions real or your imagination. Is the historical information/legends/gossip etc. true or made up? Also, what sources do you use because it would be a place to start looking for the information. Thank you!

Not just a story but new information, errors, and behavior unbecoming (and illegal?) of several law enforcement agencies. Sounds like the person who engineered or put into motion the events of that night has gotten away with murder and possibly helped cover up their involvement via political power and/or favors. Too bad we’ll never know the real truth.

Loved the book, loved the story, loved the narrator (as always)! But how come your character Luke Daniels will only get 3 books??? He’s like Cotton Malone’s little brother and keeps Cotton’s character and storyline going- just from a different perspective.
Nevertheless, NEVER stop writing the Cotton Malone books. You’ve given me great delight for over 20 years with your books so keep ‘em coming!

Mixing history and historical characters is such a great idea! Leaving the 21st century for a few hours is like being on vacation in Key West! I just wish all your books were on audio and read by Tom Stechschulte (one of the greatest narrators). What a treasure it would be to add all your Hector Lassiter books to my audio collection!
