Good Story, GREAT narrative
Revisado: 08-16-21
The story was good and kept me entertained. If I was just reading it, I would finish it but not with a great enthusiasm just the pleasant feeling of being entertained. What really pulled me into the story was the narrater. The facility in which he switched from one character to the next was excellent. I felt the distinct difference between each character, specifically Joe (main character) and Sonny. The writers material was good, but the narrater made it excellent because he infused the personality and color of each individual into story. I would enjoy if the writer put forth a sequel if:
1) developed the idea of learning to control the behavior
2) expand on the potential for a pack mentality
3) the same narrater was used to express the multiple personalities that could be developed with the above ideas.
I would describe more with the above, but I would then be giving away ideas of the current book. I would not want that done to me if I was going to read/listen to a book.
I would recommend listening to this book for a good story and creative narrater.

Birth of the White Man is a philosophical look at the intention behind America's founding in order to educate and encourage dialogue about the system of racism that exists as a result.

Excellent listen!
Revisado: 08-07-21
This is NOT a racist commentary aimed at some segment of the listening public. The materiel is well presented with facts not bias. It develops a foundation through explaining how humans develop a particular viewpoint of themselves. This culminates over several generations into a defacto standard view of the world. This view operates to shape the actions of those individual during their expansion of control over land and resources.
An excellent source of material for the individual who is willing to listen and honestly introspect on how they fit inside or outside of what they define as the social group entity they align with.
The audible presentation of the material is first rate. Art Brown displays great facility in presenting different personalities/nationalities through his use of tone, inflection, accent, and tempo in his speaking.
I look forward to volume 2 from both the author and presenter.
