Historia
Greta knows two things to be true. The first: Trolls don't venture into the forest, especially during the day. The second: Kings don't save peddlers' daughters from those trolls, and they certainly don't deposit them atop royal horses and personally escort them home. But sometimes, they do. And sometimes afterward, life gets very complicated....

The unexpected tale of gold

I loved the endearing story and the beautifully executed twists in this fairy tale. It does not disappoint. The dual voice acting adds even more to the enjoyment.

Historia
Princess Wren is not the crown princess. Everyone else might think her six older brothers are dead, but she knows the truth. They're very much alive, and her oldest brother will absolutely assume the throne. Once he becomes a little less feathered . . . and beaky. The trouble is, that requires Wren to fulfill the terms of the curse that transformed her brothers into swans—which means she can't speak a word to a living soul. For six years.

Historia
The fae queen has been making her own plans, none of which involve us surviving the next ten days. When we can't seem to stay ahead of her magic or her mercenaries, the only chance to save the people I love is a potentially deadly gamble—where a single mistake could bring disaster not only for us but for every Idrian refugee on Earth.

Historia
In the final book of the Wizard for Hire trilogy, Ozzy and his friend (and Rin’s daughter), Sigi, are in danger. They are still being hunted by Ray, the power-mad villain who will stop at nothing to find the formula to the mind-controlling discipline serum - one that Ozzy’s parents created and injected into him. Knowing the dangers that lie ahead, Rin introduces Ozzy to four more friends who also claim magical, wizard-like abilities. Again, Ozzy has no reason to believe that magic exists or that Rin’s eccentric friends can help.

I loved all three books, and am so sad to have reached the end, and yet self fulfilled by the riders ability to take me on a journey that I never expected. This author has the ability to create characters that are so full and rich that I now believe, the best complement I could give the author is to embody some of the characteristics of those in his books.

NOTE FOR MOM’S: it does use the word “shit” but tastefully, and mostly when referring to actual animal shit. :)

As an elite event planner, Margot's rubbed elbows with the cream of Chicago society and made elegance and glamour her business. She's riding high until one event goes tragically, spectacularly wrong.
